A California native, Keith was born in Los Angeles in 1926. A veteran of World War II, Keith saw active military service as a sergeant in the Air Corps from 1944 to 1945. For his exemplary conduct, he was awarded a Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and Bronze Star. After discharge, Keith pursued his lifelong admiration of the legal profession, graduating from USC in 1951 and Southwestern Law School in 1958. For the majority of his life, he practiced corporate law at Home Savings of America in various posts, most recently as a Senior Vice President. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of that institution, where he and was known as a man of integrity and loyalty. Keith is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Louise; his children Nancy and Michael; and his two grandchildren Mimi and Douglas. They remember him as being completely devoted to serving his family and community. Services will be held this Friday, June 15, 2007, 3:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Hollywood Hills. on June 13, 2007.³

Working as a legal secretary before marrying the late Leroy C. Holaday in July of 1934. He had graduated from the University of Redlands in 1933. Establishing their home in Exeter in August of 1934, where Mr. Holaday was the Exeter High School Athletic Director and coach for many years before retirement in 1945 to go into ranching. In 1976 the gymnasium at Exeter Union High School was named in his honor. She was a member of the Exeter Baptist Church where she was active in choir work and the music department, for several years. She was a member of the A.O.A.I. an International Organist Association. A member of the Order of Eastern Star, Exeter-Visalia Chapter #13 where she served as organist. on January 10, 2004.¹
