She was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Hite. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Andy was a quality control technician working with Bluestone paving for 27 years and for the last 4 years worked for West Virginia Paving. He was a 1967 graduate of Hinton High School and was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Road in Princeton. Survivors include: His wife of 33 years, Mary Apostolon Wyrick of Pipestem; children Andrea Barr and husband Chris of Pipestem, Carrie Wyrick of Pipestem, William Jabe Wyrick of Pipestem; sister Shirley Bryant and husband Johnnie of Magnolia, Texas; mother-in-law, Margaret Apostolon of Hinton; brother in law Dr. Bill Apostolon and wife Andrea of Wheeling; sister-in-law Sarah Seidler and husband Dr. Dave of Charleston; uncle Joe Williams of Lerona; nieces and nephews, Johnnie and Michael Bryant of Texas, Leann Oglesbee of Texas, Grant Calhoun of Charleston, Nate Williams of Charleston, Ryan Foster of Wheeling, Adrienne Apostolon of Wheeling, Michael Apostolon III of Wheeling; and several friends. Funeral services will be held Monday Oct. 11, 2004 at 11 a.m.. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with the Rev. Wallace Smith and Rev. Broce was shot Saturday night while trying to get through the side door of the Kove, a Cool Ridge tavern, as two men scuffled for a gun on the floor. The gun discharged in the melee State Police said. The shot struck Broce in the chest. Broce, a carpenter, died a short time later. Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Debra Lynn at home and Juanita Rakes of Crab Orchard; two sons, brother, Edsel and a sister, Mrs. Clarice Ransom, both of Huntington, Del; and his parents, Clarence L. and Roxie Hall of Daniels. The body will remain at the Webb and Neal Funeral Home until one hour before the services. Pallbearers will be Jim Worley, John Davis, Ashton Burrass, Paul Smith, Davis Hunter, Curley Kunkel, Raymond Rakes and Watson Lilly. on July 13, 1959.7

Nola was born April 12, 1922 in Beaver, WV, to Henry and Lula Hall. She was a proud Navy wife who worked as a riveter on the PBM-3 Bomber at the Glen L. Martin Co. in Baltimore, MD. During WWII. After 35 years of service with Bendix Allied Corp. in Baltimore, MD, Nola and her husband Ed retired to a log cabin in Hendersonville, NC where they spent 24 happy years. In 2008, they relocated to Port Orange FL to be near family. Nola especially enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to visit friends and relatives, working jig saw puzzles and collecting antiques. Her beautiful flowers were what she was well known for and were her pride and joy. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Belus of Port Orange, son Dennis Lilly and wife Denise Lilly of Daytona Beach, five grandchildren, Debi Meredith (Brandon) Port Orange, Mike Belus (Tammy) Port Orange, Skip Lilly, (Christel) Daytona Beach, Scott Lilly Mt Holly NC., Sean Ziemann, (Nikki) Buford, GA. Nola is also survived by eleven great grand children, one great-great grandchild, and her beloved sister, Glenna Alley (Donnie) of Haw River, NC. Many nieces and nephews that were a large part of her life and many friends to fill a book with. She will be missed by all for her loving heart. Nola was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, of 65 years, son-in law, Allen Belus, Margie Lilly and sisters, Betty Lou, Esta, Freda and her brothers Ernie, Tom, Eugene and Bill. A private service was held, per her request. on July 25, 2019.3

     Ernest Norman Hall Ernest Norman Hall, age 85, of Daniels passed away on Friday, December 2, 2011, at Raleigh General Hospital following an extended illness. He was born on August 4, 1926, in Blue Jay, WV, a son of the late Henry Stanton Hall and Lula Adkins Hall. Ernest served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard a tanker. He worked as a coal miner for 10 years then went into construction. He was a very talented stone and brick mason. Enjoyed working in his garden and yard when his health would permit it. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially talking about the good old days with his sister Nola and his brother-in-law Cletis. A smile would always come to his face when the grandchildren or great-grandchildren would visit. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Hall; a son Darrell Hall; brothers Bill, Tom, and Eugene Hall; sisters Betty Lou Hall, Freda Kincaid, and Esta Robertson. Those left to cherish his memory include his son Ray Hall and fiancée Deanna of Daniels; daughter Connie Link of Daniels and son-in-law Steve Link of Crow; sisters Nola Lilly of Daytona Beach, FL, and Glenna Alley and husband Donnie of Haw River, NC; sisters-in-law Annabelle Bennett of Mt. Nebo, WV, and Edith Bennett of Cleveland, OH; brother-in-law Cletis Kincaid of Mebane, NC; grandchildren include Jonathan Hall, Deana Hall, Brandon Link, Andrew Link, Jeremy Hall, Janson Hall, and Joshua Hall; great-grandchildren include J.J. Mapes, Aiden, Elyse, Griffin, and Trinity Hall, Greyson Link, and Daniel Hall. Also left to cherish his memory are a host of nieces and nephews. Services for Mr. Hall will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Peace Chapel in Beckley with Rev. Donnie Alley officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity where Oak Hill VFW post 3110 will conduct military graveside rites. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Bennett, Gary Lee Hall, Sam Peters, Ed Beard, Ronald Stafford, and Mike Wall. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home for visitation. The family would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Stafford, Mike Wall and Ed Beard for being such good neighbors. The staff at Heartland E-wing, and physical therapy for taking such good care and encouraging him; and also the staff of Raleigh General Hospital 4 South. Tom was a 50-year member of the First Baptist Church of Rainelle, where he served many years on the board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board. He also served as Vice Moderator for several years, as well as a member of the Adult Sunday School class. Tom was a former Assistant Manager of the G.C. Murphy Store in Beckley, Rainelle, and Princeton stores. He was a former District Manager of the Eastern Division of the American Dairy Queen Corporation and also a U.S. Army veteran. Tom, along with his wife, Kathleen, had owned and operated several businesses. Together, they operated the Rainelle Dairy Queen for 33 years, and also owned two other Dairy Queen stores in Daniels and Scott Depot. They built and operated the T&K Campground at Neola, W.Va., T&K Trailer Sales at Rupert, and Hall Hardware Store in Rainelle for several years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Lou Hall, Esta M. Robertson, and Freda Mae Kincaid, and a brother, Bill Hall. Those left to mourn are his wife, Kathleen Shannon Hall of Lilly Park, Rainelle; two daughters, Linda Pomeroy of Beckley, and Donna Jean Lucas and husband, Leon, of Beaver; one son, Thomas Hall Jr. and wife, Janie, of Amherst, Va; two sisters, Nola Lilly and husband, Edward, of Hendersonville, N.C., and Glenna Alley and husband, Donnie, of Mebane, N.C; two brothers, Ernest Hall of Daniels, and Charles E. Hall of Fayetteville, N.C; seven grandchildren, Gina Sue, Cathy Lynn, and Lori Beth Lucas, Kimberley and Christopher Pomeroy and wife, Jennifer, and Cody and Caleb, and Michael T. and John N. Hall; great-grandson, Brett Lucas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of good friends and neighbors. Service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at the First Baptist Church of Rainelle with Pastor Dana Gatewood, Assistant Pastor Keith Shumaker, and Mr. Donnie Alley officiating. Entombment will follow at Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations of sympathy be made to The First Baptist Church Food Pantry, 309 7th St., Rainelle, WV 25692. Arrangements entrusted to Wallace & Wallace of Rainelle.

Pallbearers were Louise Tennesen, Barbara Powers, Buford Herbert, Richard Herbert, Scotty Deal, Robert Tennesen, Ed Cardoni and Gene Powers. on December 23, 1998.3
