Special music will be presented by pianist and soloist Lynn Werner. A Masonic graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Angus Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the scholarship fund for Hondo High School students. Titsworth was born on June 28, 1905, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Titsworth, both now deceased. He was married Dec. 23, 1931,in Roswell to Mora Ferguson. A resident of Hondo since 1921, he was owner of Hondo Valley Garage for 50 years, president of the Hondo School Board for 25 years and a board member for 35 years. He founded the Hondo fire and amulance service, was a deputy sheriff of Lincoln County and past president of the Hondo Rotary Club. He received the Outstanding Citizen Award from the New Mexico State Police and was voted Lincoln County Man of the Year. Titsworth was also a founder and member of Tinnie Baptist Church and donated the land on which the church was built. He also was a founder of the Tinnie Fire Department. He was a member of Roswell Lodge No. 18 of A.F.& A.F., president of the Order of the Amaranth in Ruidoso and a Shriner.Besides his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Anna Titsworth of Dallas, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Stan Slaten of Roswell; one sister, Mary Bowen of Mitchell, Neb; two grandchildren, Sheryl Vickers and her husband, Ellis, of Roswell, and Michael Kendall and his wife, Anita, of Dallas; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Cooper, Pat Donahue, Tommy LaGrone, Floyd Montoya, Ken Pendergrass, Joe Skeen, John Talbert and Wilbur Wyatt. Honorary pallbearers will include Cecil Anderson, Robert O. Anderson, Jack Higgins, Joe McKnight, Sam Montoya, Ramon Nunez, Laura Peters, Edith Stanhart, D.S. Wimberly, all Master Masons and members of Tinnie Baptist Church. on November 25, 1988.3

He entered the United States Navy on Feb. 23, 1918, and served until his discharge on July 25, 1919. He returned to Nebraska and was married to Katherine A. Smith on May 18, 1921 at Broken Bow. She preceded him in death on June 30, 1956. He then married Mary Lange on July 20, 1957, and the couple resided in North Platte where Russell was employed as a meat cutter for the North Platte Packing Company for many years. After retirement, he worked part time for Nash Finch in North Platte. The couple moved to Elm Creek before moving to Osceola. Survivors include his wife; one son, Bob, of Felton, Calif; two brothers, Verne of Grand Island and Earl of Greeley, Colo; three stepsons, Raymond Lange of Palmer; Dale Lange of Grand Island and James R. Lange of Overland Park, Kan; 10 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife and three step-grandchildren. on May 29, 1982.3

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harry. Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 2 at the Adams-Swanson Chapel in North Platte with Rev. Robert Moy officiating. Neal Baxter sang "It Is No Secret" and "How Great Thou Art" with Mrs. Paul Christianson at the organ. Palbearers were: Craig and Darrell Dillon, Don and Robert Flint, and Lynn and Roger Stockall. Frank was a member of the Order of the Eagles No. 2839, Noel C. Donegan Post 1504 of V.F.W., and The P.R. Hallegan Post No. 1934 of the American Legion. Burial was at Fort McPherson Nat. "Babe" Dillon Flint, who died July 25 at Sandhills Manor in Broken Bow at the age of 87. The Rev. Doug Smith and Rev. Victor Karg officiated. Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Harold (Barbara) Whitcomb of Arnold and Mrs. Terry (Sharron Conley) of Oxnard California; sons, Robert and Wife Jean Flint of Arnold and Donnell and his wife Cheri Flint of Arnold; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; many mieces, cousins and friends; and special friends of Riverview Apartments. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Wayne (Idris) Welsh of Vernonia, Oregon. Music was by Dorothy Larreau. Selections were "Precious Memories" and "Ivory Palaces". Honorary pallbearers were all riverview Apartment residents. Pallbearers were Shad Flint, Mike Flint, Shane Flint, Bruce Deterding, James Deterding and Dustin Deterding. Estelle V. "Babe" Flint was born November 17, 1908 at Garfield Table in Lincoln County to Abner and Minnie Smith Dillon. Her father died in 1918 in the flu epidemic. She attended and graduated from school on Garfield Table and the Logan County High School at Gandy. She worked in department and grocery stores in Arnold and Stapleton after high school. On October 25, 1931 she married Arthur L. Flint. They helped send her sisters, Marie and Idris, to school and helped care for a niece, Bernilee. Art was in the trucking business so they helped a lot of hired men. To this marriage four children were born. The couple saw them all attend school and graduate in Stapleton. At the family get-togethers, everyone knew what the menu would be - chicken and noodles and butter beans. The couple resides in Stapleton on their little acreage until 1978 when they moved to Arnold to be near their children. Flint was born March 3, 1908 at Callaway, Nebraska to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Flint and passed away February 4, 1984 at the Callaway hospital at the age of 75 years. Art was the 9th of the 17 children born to this family. He grew up in the Callaway and Arnold areas, moving to Stapleton in 1929. He worked as a stock dealer, trucker, auctioneer and veterinarian. He was united in marriage to Estelle V. (Babe) Dillon on Oct. 25, 1931. To this union four children were born. They resided in Stapleton until 1978, when they then moved to Arnold to be near their children. Preceding him in death were his parents, six brothers and six sisters. He is survived by his wife, Estelle; two daughters, Mrs. Eddie (Barbara) Deterding of Arnold and Mrs. Terry (Sharron) Conley of Oxnard, California; two sons, Robert and Donnell of Arnold; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Grace Burford of Callaway, Leota Martin of Eddyville, Verna Stockham of Broken Bow and one brother, Joy of Santa, Idaho and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. from the First Baptist Church in Arnold for Arthur L. Flint, 75, who passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 4 at Callaway, Nebr. Officiating was Rev. Victor Karg. Mrs. Dale Fletcher furnished the music and sang "It Is No Secret" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Honorary pallbearers were Jim Wonch, Paul Clemmons, Dick Bandy, Joe McClure, Robert Anderson, Bill Prather, Cecil Weems, Alfred Russell, Wayne Salisbury, Bob Reed, Al Miller and Wylie Eastwood. Pallbearers were: Bruce Deterding, Rick Conley, Bobby Flint, Mike Flint, Earl Deterding, Mark Conley, Shad Flint and Shane Flint.      Barbara Marie Flint Barbara Marie Whitcomb, 74, of Arnold, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, Nebraska. Barb was born at home on August 17, 1937, in Stapleton,Nebraska to Art and Estelle (Dillon) Flint. She graduated from Stapleton High School in 1955. Barb worked in Ogallala for a year before marrying Edgar Deterding on May 13, 1957, in Stapleton. To this union four children were born: Judy, Susan, Bruce and Earl. They farmed south of Arnold for a period of time. She married Harold Whitcomb on February 1, 1995, in Broken Bow. They continued to live in Arnold. Barb was a member of the America Legion Auxiliary, the United Methodist Women and was a devoted wife and mother. She was active in playing cards with her friends, as well as organizing the foot clinic, birthday party club and many other activities at the Riverview Apartments during her stay there. She was preceded in death by her husband. Harold; her parents; a brother, Don Flint; and a niece, Rhonda Rose. Memorial funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 26, at 2:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Arnold. Pastor Irving Jennings conducted the services. Honoary pallbearers were all of the residents of Riverview Apartments. Music was provided by Melody Jennings and Dorothy Larreau. Selections were "Amazing Grace" and "The Old Rugged Cross." Cremation was chosen.      Harold Gene Whitcomb Harold Gene Whitcomb was born March 28, 1930, at Hyannis, NE, to George and Lola Rawles Whitcomb. Harold passed from this life on March 31, 2009, at the age of 79 years and three days. Harold spent his early years growing up and working on ranches in the sandhills area of Sheridan and Cherry counties in Nebraska. Harold moved to the Mason City area in Nebraska, where he farmed and raised cattle. He then moved to Springview, NE to manage his grandmother's ranch until moving to Broken Bow where he was employed at V-Bar Sales and Service. On February 1, 1995, Harold married Barbara Marie Deterding. In the fall of 1995, Harold and Barb moved to Arnold, NE, where he worked for Holman welding and where he resided until his death. Harold's special interests included hunting and trapping, fishing, working with cows and calves, his garden and his adopted grandchildren. One of his favorite sayings was "Do things right the first time so you don't have to do it again."      Robert Leon "Bob" Flint Robert Leon “Bob” Flint of Arnold passed away July 10, 2016, at his home in Arnold. He was born on Jan. 19, 1942, in Stapleton to Arthur and Estelle (Dillon) Flint. He had a happy childhood with his brother, Don, and sisters, Barbara and Sharron. He graduated from Stapleton High School in 1960. He worked for the state of Nebraska and then Francis Pandorf before becoming self-employed. Later he worked at Becton Dickinson in Broken Bow. On Oct. 2, 1965, Robert married his sweetheart, Jean Miller, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Gothenburg. They became parents to four children, Ronda, Bobby, Shad and Michael. Robert had a strong work ethic and always made providing for his family a priority. He cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. He loved working with horses, dancing and hunting, and loved to tell stories, always flashing his mischievous grin. He never knew a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Robert and Jean recently celebrated their 50th anniversary and together spent their time raising dogs, camping, fishing and playing cards. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don; sister, Barbara; and beloved daughter, Ronda. He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons, Bobby (Liz) of Virginia, Shad of Broken Bow and Mike (Corina) of Broken Bow; sister, Sharron (Terry) Conley; brother-in-law, Tim (Kerri) Miller; sister-in-law, Mickey Miller; grandchildren, Josh (Michaela) Flint, Austin Snyder, Richard Schulik, Andrew, Emily, Abby and Daniel Flint; great-grandchildren, Charlee Flint and Tristan Schulik; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at the First Baptist Church in Arnold.
