He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia Curl. Larry enjoyed life and especially the outdoors. He thoroughly enjoyed spending days fishing and gardening with his best buddy, Robert Stewart. He had a good heart and was always willing to help his neighbors. He was a long-term employee of VDOT where he worked with the road crew, and then later spent many years on the ferry. He is survived by his sister, Connie Stewart (Bucky); brothers, Gene Curl (June), Eddie Curl (Becca); daughter, Abby; stepchildren, Tracy Addison and Bryan Stewart; many grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Born July 14, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Mayo Cullipher and Mary Joyce Vandiford Cullipher. Sylvia was an avid homemaker and her fried chicken will be missed by all her knew her. She always had an open ear and a story for anyone who had the time to listen. Her priorities in life were always her children's and her grandchildren's happiness. Sylvia was one of the most generous and loving people and anyone would be lucky to have called her a friend.
