Mrs. Huffman taught in the Montgomery County Public Schools for a number of years and afterward operated a private Kindergarten in Christiansburg. She had directed the Children's Choir at St. Paul United Methodist Church and was active in Methodist churches in Christiansburg, Lexington, Roanoke, and Martinsville. Funeral services will be conducted from the Parkway House of Prayer, 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2003 with the Rev. Jeff Keaton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to Parkway House of Prayer and will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 982-2221. on October 6, 2003.²
