She had directed the Children's Choir at St. Paul United Methodist Church and was active in Methodist churches in Christiansburg, Lexington, Roanoke, and Martinsville. Burial in Sunset Cemetery. on January 30, 2000.3

Carpenito. Surviving are sons, Thomas A. Carpenito of Kennett Square, Pa., Pat L. Carpenito of Littleton Colo; and five grandchildren. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville. on February 13, 2000.4

The family suggests memorials be made to Parkway House of Prayer and will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 982-2221. on October 6, 2003.2
