Brenda Elrod Brenda Elrod Gravely, age 70, of Smyrna passed away October 29, 2017. Brenda was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She worked at the National Envelope Company for over 17 years. Brenda will be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother. She is survived by her husband, James W. Gravely; children, Angie McKeeby of Baker, IL and Benjy Verhine of Dallas; grandchildren, Kaitlin McKeeby, Brendan McKeeby, Emma McKeeby, Owen McKeeby, and David Gravely; siblings, Randolph “Junior” Elrod, Jr. of Marietta, Nancy Ralls of Rockmart, Lawrence Elrod of Powder Springs, Frankie Darnell of Mableton, and Joey Elrod of Lithia Springs; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery.1 She was buried at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery , 86 Hart Road, Dallas, Paulding Co., Georgia.2 Her married name was Gravely.1 She married James Wilson Gravely Sr., son of Herbert Wilson Gravely and Ruby Ellen Clemons.1 Brenda Elrod was born on November 19, 1946.2 She died on October 29, 2017 at Smyrna, Cobb Co., Georgia, at age 70.1,2

Tony Francis Lorenzen Tony Francis Lorenzen, 25, of Dover Air Force Base, Dover, Delaware, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, June 30, 1997, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Services were held with the 185th Fighter Wing Iowa Air National Guard, officiating. Burial, with military rites by Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard, were in Good Hope Cemetery, Correctionville, Iowa. Mr. Lorenzen was born November 19, 1971, in Sioux City, the son of Ronald C. and Patricia A. (Wies) Lorenzen. He graduated from North High School in 1990. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1990. His enlistment was up on July 31, 1997. He had plans to attend college in Maryland in the fall. Survivors include a daughter, Nikole of Sioux City; his parents; a brother and his wife, Ronald Jr. and Elsa of Vacaville, California; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Lorenzen of Washta, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Robert and Marcella Wies of Brunswick, Nebraska; a special friend, Erin Foster of Middleton, Delaware; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Clarence Lorenzen; an uncle, Craig Ruring; and a cousin, Laura Patterson.3 He was buried at Good Hope Cemetery, Pierson, Woodbury Co., Iowa.2,3,6 His Social Security Number was 479-90-3498.4 He was born on November 19, 1971 at Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa.2,3,4,5,7,6 He married Michelle Lee Bedwell, daughter of Darrell Blaine Bedwell and Mary Elizabeth Jones, on June 22, 1991 at Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa.1 Tony Francis Lorenzen died on June 30, 1997 at Dover, Kent Co., Delaware, at age 25.2,3,4,5,6
