     Belinda Kay Jordan Belinda Kay “BJ” (Jordan) Vance, 60, of Orrville, died Saturday, August 24, 2024 at her residence. Belinda was born December 24, 1963 in Wooster, Ohio to William and Connie E. (Hoover) Jordan. She graduated from Tuslaw High School. She married Paul Vance on April 28, 1990. He survives. She attended Grace Church Wooster and NOW Church in Orrville. She enjoyed singing, stamping, sewing and cooking. Belinda will be deeply missed by her husband; children Ryan, Justin, and Derek (Celina) Vance; grandson Theodore Vance; parents William “Bill” and Connie of Orrville; brothers Tom (Becky) and Tim (Sandy) Jordan; special aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews and companion dog Izzy. Belinda was preceded in death by her grandparents.      Clifford Elbert Ryan was buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Leesburg, Highland Co., Ohio.² He was born on March 13, 1919 at Raleigh Co., West Virginia.^1,2 He married Edna Mae Bolt, daughter of John William "Johnny" Bolt and Blanche Elaine Lester, on March 17, 1940 at Hicksville, Bland Co., Virginia.¹ Clifford Elbert Ryan died on January 14, 1957 at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio, at age 37.^4,3 He Service for Clifford Ryan, 37, of Leesburg, will be held Wednesday. Ryan died Monday in University Hospital, Columbus, where he was admitted Jan. 5, following an automobile accident on Rt. 62 at Staunton. Also injured was Bernard E. Cole, 28, of Leesburg, a half-brother, of Ryan Cole in Fayette Memorial Hospital. The accident occurred when their car attempted to pass another southbound car on a curve and went off the west side of the highway, hitting a tree. A native of West Virginia, Ryan moved to Leesburg two months ago. He leaves a son, Teddy, of Helen, W. Va., his mother, Mrs. Ella Chenault Cole, and the stepfather, John Cole, of Leesburg, and the half-brother and three half-sisters. on January 15, 1957.⁴

     Catherine "Kathleen" Mitchell Catherine Canterbury, 86 of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following a sudden illness. Born on November 9, 1928 in Minden, WV and is the daughter of the late John and Virgie Mitchell. Catherine was a homemaker and absolutely enjoyed life. She had the most outgoing personality and always enjoyed making others happy and having fun. She loved to dance and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. Those who knew Catherine will know the love and kindness she shared and she will be sadly missed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Huffman Canterbury; son, Jerry Bolt; brother, Harry Mitchell; and sisters, Doris Daniels and Mae Tipton. Those left to carry on her legacy include her children, Patricia Canterbury of Oak Hill, Dawn Self and husband Mike of Fayetteville, Judy Collins and husband Rod of Maple Heights, OH, and Charles Lee Canterbury and wife Michelle of Summerlee; brother, John “Duke” Mitchell and wife Susie of California; former husband, John Bolt of Belle Vernon, PA; grandchildren, Kyle Brandon Canterbury of Summerlee, Dominic Underwood of Oak Hill, Amanda Hypes and husband Jeremy of Fayetteville, Brittany Pennington of Oak Hill, Noah Pennington of Oak Hill, Michael Self of Fayetteville, Rebecca Labarge and husband Derick of Ohio, Christopher Brown and wife Julie Kensil Brown of Ohio, and Josh Bolt of Bella Vernon, PA ; great grandchildren, Skyla “Baby Boo” Labarge, Presley Labarge, and an expected great grandchild on the way; special friends, Charlene Underwood, Imogene Underwood, Eva Epperly; and also surviving are her fur babies, Sassy and Zoey “JoJo”.
