     Pauline Nevada “Polly” Richardson Pauline Richardson Wimmer, 95, formerly of Roanoke, Va., and Winston-Salem, N.C., went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. She was a founding member of Community Church. Pauline worked at the United States Army Post in Norfolk, Va., during World War II and was a retired Certified Nursing Attendant (CNA) at the Veteran’s Hospital in Salem, Va. Surviving are three sons, Gordon “Butch” Wimmer and wife, Judy, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Robert Wayne Wimmer and wife, Betty, of Roanoke, Va., and Marvin Gary Wimmer of Choctaw, Okla; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem.¹ She was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ She was born on July 8, 1924 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3 As of October 16, 1944,her married name was Wimmer.² She married Robert Clarence "R.C." Wimmer Jr., son of Robert Clarence Wimmer Sr. and Willie Frances Rusher, on October 16, 1944 at Roanoke, Virginia.² Pauline Nevada “Polly” Richardson and Robert Clarence "R.C." Wimmer Jr. were divorced on March 27, 1969 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Pauline Nevada “Polly” Richardson died on December 17, 2019 at Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., North Carolina, at age 95.¹

     Sadie Pauline Turman Pauline Turman Nelson, Aug 19, 1921 – Oct 2, 2022. A child of the roaring 20s, Pauline was born to Grover and Edna (Hylton) Turman, August 19, 1921. A teenager of the Great Depression, she was raised in rural Boones Mill, Virginia with her now predeceased brothers and sisters. A young woman of the 1940s, she was a war bride and widow to Carl King. She found a second love and married J. Gordon Wimmer. During the 50s and 60s she gave birth to four baby boomer children. James G Jr, infant Judy, Kathy Marie and Robin Diane (Argenbright). In the late 60s, as a single mother, she moved with her two daughters to Orlando, Florida and began a waitressing career. She found love a third time in the 1970s and married Roy Nelson. The 1980s brought grand children but sadly the loss of her husband. She returned to Virginia to enjoy being a grandmother to Robert Wimmer, Paul and Rachel Argenbright (Jerden). Her life was filled with great friends, many creative pursuits and a great love for her faith in Jesus Christ. One of her greatest joys was a trip to Israel in '96. On October 2, 2022, just months after her 101st birthday, she left this earthly life to join so many of her loved ones in heaven. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she leaves 8 great grandchildren.³ She was born on August 19, 1921 at Boones Mill, Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 As of February 22, 1949,her married name was Wimmer.¹ She married James Gordon Wimmer Sr., son of Robert Clarence Wimmer Sr. and Willie Frances Rusher, on February 22, 1949 at York, York Co., South Carolina.^1,3 Sadie Pauline Turman and James Gordon Wimmer Sr. were divorced on July 29, 1966 at Charlottesville, Virginia.¹ Sadie Pauline Turman died on October 2, 2022 at Orlando, Orange Co., Florida, at age 101.³

     Judy Karen Wimmer was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ She was born on January 26, 1956 at Petersburg, Virginia.^2,4 She died on February 27, 1956 at Petersburg, Virginia.² She Judy Karen Wimmer, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gordon Wimmer, formerly of Roanoke, died Monday in a Petersburg hospital. Funeral will be at the grave in Sherwood. on February 28, 1956.³

     Jonathan Miller Argenbright was born on February 27, 1959 at South Carolina.^1,2 He married Robin Diane Wimmer, daughter of James Gordon Wimmer Sr. and Sadie Pauline Turman, on April 11, 1981 at Albemarle Co., Virginia.¹ Jonathan Miller Argenbright died on January 26, 2016 at Texas at age 56.² He Jonathan Miller Argenbright, 56, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016. He was was born Feb. 27, 1959. on February 5, 2016.²

     Ella Christine Hall was buried at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail, Hollymead, Albemarle Co., Virginia.^4,1,5 Her Social Security Number was 230-44-6097.⁶ She was born on January 4, 1936 at Roanoke, Virginia; The SSDI has a birth year of 1935.^1,6,5 As of November 20, 1954,her married name was Wimmer.^1,3 She married Hugh Francis Wimmer, son of Robert Clarence Wimmer Sr. and Willie Frances Rusher, on November 20, 1954 at Chesterfield, Chesterfield Co., South Carolina.^1,3,5 Ella Christine Hall died on January 10, 1985 at Charlottesville, Virginia, at age 49.^1,5 She Mrs. Christine H. Wimmer, 49, of 2307 Wakefield Road, died Jan. 10, 1985, in a local hospital. Born in Roanoke, Va. on Jan. 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mable Hall. She was an owner/operator, along with her husband, of Chris's Restaurant on Rt. 29 N., and a member of Mt. Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Hugh F. Wimmer of Charlottesville; two sons, Donald E. Wimmer of Amherst and David A. Wimmer of Charlottesville: one sister, Jenny Lee Taylor of Roanoke: five brothers, Woodrow Hall. Marshall Hall, Billy Hall, Leo Hall and Eugene Hall, all of Roanoke. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at Holly Memorial Gardens. on January 11, 1985.⁵
