The jury is looking into the death of Jeffery Thomas Luckado, 18, of Botecourt County, Va., on June 15. Luckado was shot to death while reportedly fleeing from Caney City Officer Ron Loman. Whitaker said the jury will be cailed back into session in the next two weeks to complete the investigation. The shooting happened after Loman attempted to arrest the youth and the young man reportedly broke and ran twice, once after knocking Loman down.
