     Margaret Leana Smith was buried at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2 She was born on February 25, 1932 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2 As of June 17, 1950,her married name was Carr.1 She married Clinton Crockett Carr, son of James Valentine Carr and Mary Malinda Young, on June 17, 1950 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,2 Margaret Leana Smith died on July 24, 2015 at Belmont, Pleasants Co., West Virginia, at age 83.2 She Margaret Carr White, 83, of Charleston, went home to be with her Lord on July 24, 2015, at Care Haven of Pleasants in Belmont, W.Va., after an extended illness. Margaret was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Charleston, W.Va., daughter of the late Omay C. Smith and Aretta S. Russell Smith. She was employed many years and retired from Carbon Industries where she worked as a faithful secretary to the late Jim Thomas and L. Newton Thomas. She also was a longtime member and past president of the Pilot Club of Charleston. Margaret was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. She also enjoyed cooking and loved to set a beautiful table when entertaining. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends and caring for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clinton C. Carr; her second husband, Ethon E. White; and her sister, Betty L. Tolliver. Margaret is survived by her only son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Larry W. and Kathy J. Carr of St. Marys, W.Va., where she lived for the past five years during her illness. She loved her four granddaughters, Joanna (Tim) Seigneur of Williamstown, Stephanie (Zach) Easton of Wheeling, Shannon (Tim) Schramm of Dayton, Ohio, and Marisa Carr of Clearwater, Fla. She had nine great grandchildren who could brighten her day with their love and exuberance. She had several nieces and nephews who were very close to her, and many lifelong friends. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. on July 26, 2015.2

Carr, daughter of James Valentine Carr and Mary Malinda Young.1,6 David William Thompson was born on September 3, 1914 at Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana.2,4,7,5,8 He died on November 19, 2009 at New York, New York, at age 95.2,5 He David William Thompson, 95, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, in New York City. Born Sept. 3, 1914, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of William Byron and Georgia Louise (Davis) Thompson. He was a graduate of South Side High School, and Indiana Univeristy where he received a Bachelor's and Master's degree. Dearly beloved and adored husband of Shirley, he was a retired executive, business educator, and college professor. Services were held in New York City. Burial in Eel River Cemetery. on December 4, 2009.2
