Dean was born in Darke County on August 15, 1935 to Harry & Vertie (Bashore) Horner; a graduate of Versailles High School, Class of 1953; a U.S. Army veteran; retired from NCR with 39 years of service; a member of the Painter Creek Motorcycle Club; member of Brookville Antique Tractor Association; and a member of the Community United Methodist Church, Brookville. Preceded in death by his mother, Vertie Horner and son-in-law, David Todd. Dean is survived by his father, Harry Homer of Greenville; his wife of 52 years, Edith M. "Tootsie" (Kelley) Homer; son, Scott Horner of West Milton; daughter, Sherri Todd of Marengo, OH, four grandchildren, Sara & Aaron Zieber of Westerville, OH, Jonathan Todd, Marengo, OH, Billy Horner and Kelly Horner, both of Donnelsville, OH; great-granddaughter, Abi Todd of Marengo OH; sister and brother-in-law, Donna & Bob Reed of Bradford; brother and sister-in-law, Herman & Cora Horner of Troy; and other relatives and friends. Kreitzer died on May 6, 1991 at Piqua, Miami Co., Ohio, at age 61.^3,4 He Ralph E. Kreitzer, 61, 4600 Ohio 48 , Covington, died Monday at 4:17 a.m. at Piqua Memorial Hospital. He was born in Darke County Nov. 23, 1929 to Roy and Alma (Mong) Kreitzer. He was a resident of Covington for the last 40 years and was a route driver for the Stillwater Advertiser and Dayton Daily News for the last 10 years and a route driver for 14 years for the Piqua Daily Call. He also worked 17 years for Hobart of Troy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters. Survived by his wife, Norma J. (Kelly) Kreitzer, who he married June 30, 1951; daughter, Mrs. Karen Lynn Gephart of Covington; two grandchildren; brothers George Kreitzer of Palestine, Dale and Leonard Kreitzer of Greenville and Forrest Kreitzer of Union City; sisters, Mrs. William (Irene) Kellar and Mrs. Richard (Mildred) Troutwine, both of Greenville. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Covington. on May 7, 1991.⁴

She was born in Piqua, OH on September 15, 1952 to the late Ralph E. and Norma J. (Kelley) Kreitzer. Karen is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Lori and Joe Utegg, Ripley, NY and Stephanie and Ernie Jones, Bradford; and four grandchildren: A. J. Utegg and Daylon Utegg, Ripley, NY and E. J. Jones and Shawn Jones, Bradford. Karen graduated from Covington High School in 1972. She was a member of the Covington Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed word searches and adult coloring books. She liked gardening. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Karen was employed as an assistant at Booher Chiropractic Office in Piqua for many years, and was a representative for Avon products. She was also employed with Goodwill Industries for 4 years. Gephart, age 67 of Covington, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. Fred was born in Piqua on March 25, 1953 to the (late) Raymond & Virginia (Ingle) Gephart; retired with 38+ years of service from Francis & Schulze, Russia; a member of the Bradford Community Club; enjoyed boating, fishing, and woodworking; and loved riding his motorcycle. Preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Charlotte Faye Gephart and his wife of 39 years, Marcia A. Gephart in 2018.      Sherri Lynn Horner was born on November 24, 1959 at Troy, Miami Co., Ohio.^5,4 As of October 19, 1979,her married name was Todd.² She married David Dean Todd on October 19, 1979 at Montgomery Co., Ohio.^1,2,3,5 Sherri Lynn Horner and David Dean Todd were divorced on September 24, 1986 at Franklin Co., Ohio.⁶ Sherri Lynn Horner married David Dean Todd on March 17, 1989 at Ohio.² Sherri Lynn Horner died on May 6, 2017 at Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio, at age 57.^7,4 She Sherri L. Todd, age 57, of Marengo, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Riverside Hospital following a eight month battle against cancer. She was born on November 24, 1959 in Troy to the late Harold Horner and Edith (Kelley) Horner of Brookville. A graduate of Brookville High School in 1978, she moved to Marengo in the early 1990's from Westerville. Sherri worked as a graphic artist with Hartman Printing in Mt. Gilead. She was proud of her "Harebrain" greeting card line and was also known for her hand drawn and colored Christmas cards. Her other artistic qualities include drawing and photography, primarily of nature scenes. She enjoyed fishing and traveling, beach destinations were her favorite, and she collected sand from each one. Sherri was also a supporter of Pelatonia and had a passion for animals. Quiet in nature, she will be remembered for her sweetness and her kind loving ways. Most proud of her children, it was her grandchildren's accomplishments that she bragged about the most. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Sara (Aaron) Zieber; son, Jon (Jennifer) Todd; and grandchildren, David and Allison Zieber, Abigail and Jocelyn Todd, all of Marengo; and brother, Scott Horner. She was preceded in death by her husband David Todd in 2004. on May 8, 2017.⁴
