Burial in Straley Cemetery in Adamsville. He was born Dec. 15, 1972, in Lampasas. He was a grocery stocker for H-E-B. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Elaine and Billy Craig of Kempner; his father, Clifford Pruett of Elliston, Va; two sisters, Tracie Tucker and Mandy Craig Pruett, both of Kempner; three brothers, Kevin Craig of Wichita Falls, T.J. Tucker of Victoria and Benjamin Lee Pruett of Elliston; and his grandparents, Dorothy and R.B. Patterson Jr. of Lampasas and Carl and Jan Pacaitti of Roanoke, Va. on June 16, 1998.⁴

     Dyrl Wayne Brown Sr. was buried at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 5070 Cove Road N. W., Roanoke, Virginia.³ His Social Security Number was 233-78-1854.⁵ He was born on January 2, 1950 at Kimball, McDowell Co., West Virginia.^1,2,5 He married Dreama Kaye Pruett, daughter of Melvin Lee "Buddy" Pruett and Joyce Catherine Moses, on July 8, 1986 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Dyrl Wayne Brown Sr. and Dreama Kaye Pruett were divorced on June 1, 1987 at Roanoke, Virginia.² Dyrl Wayne Brown Sr. died on September 8, 2013 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 63.^3,4,5 He Dyrl "Wayne""String" Brown Sr., 63, of Big Four, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2013, and was the son of the late Solomon and Mildred Brown. He was also proceeded in death by four brothers, Ralph Brown, Junior "Bugs" Brown, Richard Brown and Warren Brown; and one sister, Margeret Baker. He is survived by one brother, Herman "Snooks" Brown and wife, Donna; two sisters, Doris Patton and husband, Jack, and Helen Garcia. Also surviving are his children, Dyrl Wayne "DW" Brown Jr. and Angela Sue "Ang" Brown; grandchildren, include Jocelyn St.Clair, Alexis Parsons, Elizabeth Brown, Dominic Wines and Tanner Brown; with a great- grandchild on the way; special friend, Kenny Kirtner; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He owned and operated DW Brown Roofing Company for many years along side his business partner and special friend, Arnold Saunders. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Lois Colleen Alley Pruett, 83, of Goodview passed away Monday, February 6, 2023. She was a daughter of the late Charlie Woodrow Wilson Alley and Beulah Dove Alley. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Barry Thomas Pruett; children, Lisa Ziegler (Tim), Tina Reece (Kelly), Tanya Hall (Danny) and Stephen Pruett; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; many other family members. A graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park.² She was born on March 15, 1939 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 As of October 25, 1969,her married name was Pruett.¹ She married Barry Thomas Pruett, son of Blane Crawford Pruett and Lillie Annie May Hall, on October 25, 1969 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2 Lois Colleen Alley died on February 6, 2023 at Virginia at age 83.²

     Rebecca Eunice Likens was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ She was born on August 6, 1948 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,3 As of January 30, 1965,her married name was Pruett.² She married Barry Thomas Pruett, son of Blane Crawford Pruett and Lillie Annie May Hall, on January 30, 1965 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,4 Rebecca Eunice Likens died on June 18, 1966 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 17.^1,4 She Mrs. Rebecca Likens Pruett, 17, of Rt. 2, Salem, was killed instantly Saturday morning when the car she was driving crashed into a bridge abutment on U.S. 221 four miles west of Roanoke. The crash occurred about 8:45 a.m., police said. She was alone in the car. Surviving are her husband, Barry T. Pruett; one son, Stephen Barry Pruett, Salem; one brother, Vernon S. Likens Jr., Salem; one sister, Miss Alice Marie Likens, Salem; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon S. Likens, Salem. on June 19, 1966.⁴
