He went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2022, in Beckley, WV at the age of 79. Delmer is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Donnie and Rosa; and his sister Shirley Minshew. Delmer leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 50 years, Mary A. (Osborne) Webb; 3 children, Pastor Kevin (Teresa) Webb, Donnie (Angel) Webb, and Kitzie (Aaron) Gordon; grandchildren Amanda (Adam) Fraley, Kevin (Erika) Webb, Brittany Bonnett, Wesley Webb, Jordan Cozart, Landon Webb, Adysen Jones, Gabriel Jones, Matthew Gordon, Nathan Gordon and Faith Gordon; great-grandchildren Caleb, Kate, and Blake Fraley; special niece Tina Minshew; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Delmer was a committed husband, father, and grandfather who loved so much spending time with his grandkids building adventures together. They enjoyed building toys, swings, BB gun shooting ranges and Teepees. He was a Christian, dedicated to his home church of Arnett Chapel where he spent time as a Deacon. He will be truly missed and loved by everyone who has had the honor to know and meet him. Delmer was one of the pioneers of the Trap Hill Fire Dept. and spent time as the Fire Chief. He was a hard worker spending over 35 years working underground in the mines until his retirement in 2005.
