Matthew Anthony Legg, Jr., 5, of Independence passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Patricia Legg. Survivors include parents, Matthew Anthony Legg, Sr. and Kristie Legg of the home; sister, Madolyn Legg of the home; maternal grandparents, Dave and Patty Conner; aunts, Rebecca Conner, Stephanie Conner, Debbie Cencer, Barbara Ging and Lynn Legg; uncles, David Conner, Mark Legg, Matt Ging and Larry Cencer; many loving family members and friends.⁴ He was born on August 6, 2008 at Charlottesville, Virginia.^2,4 He died on April 16, 2014 at Galax, Virginia, at age 5.^3,4
