Mr. Mullins is also survived by his former wife, Mrs. Peggy Mullins. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery. on April 24, 1986.7 He Kenneth B. Mullins, 56, died Wednesday in a Roanoke hospital after an industrial accident while at work at Pepsi-Cola Bottlers at Cloverdale. The cause of death was massive head injuries according to Dr David Oxley, deputy chief medical examiner for Western Virginia. A state occupational safety inspector is investigating to see if Mullins fell into a machine or was struck by it, according to Janice Hathcock of the Occupational Safety office in Richmond. The machine handles pallets that separate soft drinks, she said. A report is expected by next week, she said. Kenneth W. Mullins, a son, said his family has not been able to learn what happened. He said his father had worked in the bottling plant for about 10 years. Mullins lived on Hollins Road Northeast. Joe Laudato the plant manager could not be reached for comment. on April 25, 1986.13
