Doris attended Sharon Township #6, also known as Bayertown school, and graduated from Sharon Center High School in 1944. Doris Grout and Robert F. “Bob” Moore were married April 9, 1950 at the Grout Church. They lived and worked in Iowa City for a year and a half before moving west of Riverside on highway 22 to rent one of her dad’s farms.
