Emma Jean Perry (nee Parrott) 95, of West Chester, OH passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side. Emma was born in Bardo, Kentucky to William P. and Virgie M. Parrott. Emma grew up in a family of seven children filled with Christian love. They had to move 16 times before she was 11 years old due to her father working in the coal mines. Later Emma met her husband-to-be at a church revival. They were both struck by the Love Bug and later married in 1942. Shortly after they started their family and were married for 54 years before Charles's passing in 1996. Emma was devoted to several very precious things here on earth. Jesus, her husband, and her family. She was baptized in the New River by her father and had been a Christian for over 81 years. Emma and her husband pastored a church for 24 years. She was a wonderful wife, a great mother and role model and a loving Nannie. Emma had a huge warm heart as she was willing to help others with her time, talent or resources. She longed to be with the Lord Jesus Christ and her husband, Charles. May she rest in peace. Emma is the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Perry, Sr., devoted mother of Delores (Rev. Darrell) Lively and Charles (Ola Ann) Perry, Jr., loving Nannie of Rebecca (Michael) Hardy, Michael (Jolene) Lively, C. Jacob (Mackenzie) Perry and Elizabeth Ann Perry and great-Nannie of Carolyn, Jonathon and David Hardy, Samuel and Joseph Lively, dear sister of the late Rev. Beulah Pack, Lucille Conrad, Rev. James Parrott, Bill Parrott, Ruth Ella Parrott and Roscoe Parrott. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.2 She was born on November 8, 1925 at Bardo, Harlan Co., Kentucky.4,2,3 As of April 4, 1942,her married name was Perry.3 She married Rev. Charles Jefferson Perry, son of Cyrus Edward Perry and Lottie Gertrude Meadows, on April 4, 1942 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1,4,2,3 Emma Jean Parrott died on November 20, 2020 at Ohio at age 95.2
