She was born June 22, 1951 in St. Johns to parents Ronald and Margaret (Swann) Schomisch. Bette married Allen D. Dault on February 26, 1972 in St. Johns. Mrs. Dault was a teacher for preschoolers; she loved children. She especially loved her grandchildren. Bette was an active person, she enjoyed golf, camping and flower gardening. She also liked casinos and was a member of the VFW Woman's Auxiliary. Mrs. Dault was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend - she will be dearly missed. Bette is survived by her husband of 42 years: Allen Dault, Sr., children: Amy (Rich) Rennie, Allen (Allison) Dault, Jr., Alicia (Shane) DeRoso, Beth (Jason) Peters, grandchildren: John, Adrianna, Daniel, Kylee, Vanessa, Alexis, Cole, Holley, Ethan, Shaye, Baileigh, Joshua, siblings: Ronald Schomisch, Joyce Bushard, Ardith (David) Miller, Bruce Schomisch as well as several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ronald and Margaret Schomisch. Cremation followed visitation, with interment of cremated remains in St. Johns Cemetery. on April 6, 2014.3

Schomisch Jr. on August 6, 1964 in Fowler, Michigan. Mrs. Schomisch had resided in Farwell since 1973, coming from South Haven, Michigan. Billie was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Clare. Billie enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, horseback riding, biking, taking walks, traveling and camping. Surviving Billie are her loving husband of forty seven years, Mr. Ronald J. Schomisch Jr. of Farwell; her loving children: one son, Ronny J. Schomisch III and wife Debbie of Farwell, one daughter, Dawn M. Meister and husband Dale also of Farwell; five grandchildren: Christopher Schomisch, Jessica Schomisch, Keith Meister, Karl Meister and Kurt Meister, Nana's special girls: Shauna Knowlton and Miranda Lund; two sisters: Margo Hopkins of Lansing, Michigan and Patty Riley and husband Joe of Grand Ledge, Michigan; two brothers: Fred Assid and wife Judy of Owosso, Michigan and Kevin Leavitt and wife Mary Lynn of Ludington, Michigan; mother in law, Margaret Schomisch of Fowler; four special cousins: John Hayward and wife Teri, Jim Hayward and wife Linda, Lindy Stadick and husband Al and Marion Hayward. Mrs. Schomisch was preceded in death by her parents; father in law, Ronald J. Schomisch Sr; and a special cousin, Viva Susan Krchmar. on April 3, 2012.1

M. Walters, 125 Elm Ave. S.W., died at 3 p.m. yesterday from injuries received Monday afternoon when he was struck by a truck. The accident occurred at the corner of Franklin Rd. and First St. S.W. His death marked the second automobile fatality in Roanoke this year. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Police said the truck was driven by Edward N. Butt, 201 Front St., South Salem. Besides his parents, the youngster is survived by two brothers, Michael Walters and C. M. Walters Jr., and a sister, Mrs. Miriam Henson, all of Roanoke. on January 26, 1949.4
