She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late David and Angelina (Mirabella) Lepore. Surviving are two sons: Dana Meeks of Newburgh, Ind., and Steven Meeks of Flora, Ind; two granddaughters: Taryn Meeks and Samantha Meeks; two grandsons: Nicolas Meeks and Alexander Meeks; a great-granddaughter, Luna Meeks; a great-grandson, Rory Meeks; three brothers: Louis, Raymond and David; and two sisters: Donna and Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents David and Angelina; her husband of 56 years, Raymond E. Meeks, who passed away in 2009; eight brothers: Vernon, Ernest, Chester, Michael, Danny, Frank, Gene and Robert; and a sister, Shirley. Anna had 11 brothers and three sisters. Nine of her bothers served in the armed forces during WWII. She and her husband, Raymond, lived in Lanham, Md., and later moved to Fresno, Calif. When they retired, they then moved to Newburgh, Ind. to be closer to family.
