Marilyn Kay Soto Marilyn Kay Rineker, age 78, passed away peacefully June 1, 2022 due to COPD and congestive heart failure. She was born November 3, 1943 in Maple Fork, West Virginia to Thelma Ella Buttrick & Louis Sanchez Soto. She married her ex, Monroe Benge in early 60’s together they had two children Monroe Benge Jr. who preceded her in death in 2006 and Laura Cato. She then married her love, Ronald Rineker, in October of 1968 who preceded her in death in 1992. Together they had one child, Melanie and her husband Thomas Adams. In 1974 found her loving companion Jack Farley who she spent the rest of her life with Jack preceded her in death in 2013. Marilyn was a wonderful and loving mother who was always there for her kids and grandkids. They were everything to her. Family was everything to her. A very humble woman who had a huge heart and loved to help others. It didn't matter who you were, her door was always open. She also loved to sew, make crafts and had a deep love of genealogy. Over the years she made everything from sewed clothes for her kids and little toys to beautiful flower arrangements. Her hands were rarely still even in her later years she loved her solitaire and crosswords. She also shared her love of the beach with her daughter every Saturday we headed to Porters. She loved food and cooking. She would always share her love for food such as Biscuits and Gravy, fresh cut fries for her grandkids, lasagna and real chicken and dumplings. There was always enough for anyone that came to join there would be a plate for you at the table. For many years Marilyn worked at Martins Eastwind and Traffic Dispatched, and then Eastern Auto all located in Baltimore, Maryland. It suited her servant heart and love of accounting. She said she worked because of how she was brought up by her father. She used to always say: “Do what’s right and do what’s good. Be kind and help others. The world can always use one more kind person. Mom also had a deep love for animals and made sure my love of horses was always within my reach. Loved her dogs and in her older years she loved watching the birds and always made sure I had food ready for the birds. Her life was a living example of my favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” Marilyn is survived by her two sisters Diana Simmons, and Anita Humphrey and Husband Mark; preceded in death by siblings Louis and Donald Soto, and Caryn Dailey. Beloved grandchildren, Dallas Adams, Thomas Adams, Christopher Seal, Kyle Cato, Christopher Barnett, Evie, & Hilarie Yarborough, Richard Hartley and Kodi Beckwith. Secondary grandma to Justina Lassen (Jason) and Samantha (Nick) Blunt. Plus 7 great grandchildren and her many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply. Graveside Services will be held at the Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.4 She was buried at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 10201 Bird River Road, Middle River, Baltimore Co., Maryland.4 Her married name was Benge.4 She married Monroe Benge.4 Marilyn Kay Soto and Monroe Benge were divorced.4 Marilyn Kay Soto was born on November 3, 1943 at Maple Fork, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.4 As of October, 1968,her married name was Reineker.4 She married Ronald Wayne Reineker in October, 1968.4 Marilyn Kay Soto died on June 1, 2022 at Maryland at age 78.4
