He is survived by his wife, Karen Denese Benge of Cordova; daughters, Hillary Yarborough and Evie Yarborough, both of Texas; son, Christopher Barnett of Cordova; father, Monroe Benge Sr; mother, Marylan Rineker of Maryland; sisters, Laura Cato of Sumiton, Marlene Anderson of Ohio, Debra Gorrell of Texas, Tammy Overmen of Tennessee, and Melanie Adams of Maryland; and brother, David Benge of Cordova.³ He married Karen Denise Richardson.⁶ Monroe Benge Jr. was born on August 11, 1965 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.⁴ He married Rhonelta Eileen Garcia on December 19, 1987 at Rockwall Co., Texas.² Monroe Benge Jr. and Rhonelta Eileen Garcia were divorced on April 6, 1993 at Dallas Co., Texas.⁵ Monroe Benge Jr. died on October 6, 2006 at Birmingham, Jefferson Co., Alabama, at age 41.^3,4,7

Mrs. Benge was preceded in death by her Mother-Margaret Richardson; Brother-Billy Wayne Richardson; Husband-Jr. Monroe Benge; Mother-in-law-Mary Ann Benge.² Her married name was Benge.¹ She married Monroe Benge Jr., son of Monroe Benge and Marilyn Kay Soto.¹ Karen Denise Richardson was born on November 24, 1966.² She died on November 21, 2009 at Alabama at age 42.¹

     Patricia Ann Jones Patricia “Pat” Ann Sirmans – 72, of Valdosta, Georgia passed on March 20, 2021 at her son’s residence. She was born on August 30, 1948 to the late June Millie (Buttrick) and Fonder DeWitt Jones. Pat was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an administrative assistant/bookkeeper for 21 years with Langdale. She also was an excellent cook, she enjoyed fishing, being on the water, and also skiing in her earlier years. Pat is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winston Edward Sirmans; one grandson, Alden Williams; two sisters, Fonda Melton, Brenda Sutton. Survivors include: Children: Wendy Culpepper and husband Roger of Valdosta, Georgia; Debra Williams of Valdosta, Georgia; Dusty Sirmans and wife Jennifer of Valdosta, Georgia; grandchildren: Jim, Jesslyn, Jacob, Jeremiah, Abby, Alexandria, Arabi, Ayden, Elijah, Gabriel, and Lily; six great-grandchildren; one brother: Franklin Jones of Nashville, Georgia. Burial to follow at Beaver Dam Cemetery in Ray City, Georgia.³ She was buried at Beaver Dam Cemetery, Ray City, Berrien Co., Georgia.³ She was born on August 30, 1948.³ As of circa 1969,her married name was Sirmans.⁴ She married Winston Edward Sirmans circa 1969.^1,2,3,4 Patricia Ann Jones died on March 20, 2021 at Valdosta, Lowndes Co., Georgia, at age 72.³

     Winston Edward Sirmans Winston Edward Sirmans – 72, of Valdosta passed away at South Georgia Medical Center on October 28, 2016. He was born in Nashville, Georgia on December 12, 1943 to the late Edward and Ruth (Boyd) Sirmans. Winston was a veteran of the Korean War where he served honorably in the Army from 1965-1967. He worked with National Linen Service and Alsco for 43 years before retiring in 2010. He worked many businesses in and around Valdosta including Dr's offices, Hospitals, VSU, MAFB and many restaurants. He enjoyed getting to know all his customers and was always looking for an opportunity to serve and meet the needs of others as demonstrated by his involvement in ministry through his church. As a member of the Grace Baptist Church for 28 years, he ran a bus route on Sunday mornings where he picked up mostly underprivileged children so the church could give them breakfast before the morning services. After becoming a member of the Pine Grove Community Baptist Church, he became an instrumental member of the Living Waters Ministry that focuses on feeding and clothing the less fortunate members of our community. All that knew him, knew that he loved his family, his church and the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister Gail Jordan and a grandson Alden Williams. In addition to his mother, Ruth (Boyd) Sirmans, Winston is survived by: Wife of 47 years Patricia Jones Sirmans, Valdosta, Georgia; Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Dana (Danny) Swilley, Wendy (Roger) Culpepper, Debra (Victor) Williams; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Dusty (Jennifer) Sirmans; Grandchildren:

     Brenda Jane Jones Brenda Jane Jones Fogarty, 63, of Dublin, formerly of Valdosta, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Mrs. Fogarty will be laid to rest at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Eldorado. Born December 20, 1952 in Valdosta, Mrs. Fogarty was the daughter of the late Dewitt Jones and June Buttick Jones. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Billy A. Sutton and her second husband, Jimmy Fogarty. She was retired. Mrs. Fogarty is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Sarah Monk and Tommy and Joanne Sutton, all of Dublin; a daughter and daughter-in-law, Robin Monk and Jackie Kresin of Valdosta; a brother, Franklin Jones of Valdosta; two sisters, Patricia Sirmans of Valdosta and Fonda Melton of Moultrie; eleven grandchildren, Tiffany Monk, Chasity Monk, Daniel Monk, Marshal Kresin, Adam Thompson, Erin Joachimi, Jacob Joachimi, Cody Joachimi, Joshua Monk, Rebekkah Stanton and Kendrah Stanton; and six great-grandchildren.² She was buried at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Eldorado, Tift Co., Georgia.² Her married name was Sutton.² Her married name was Fogarty.¹ She married Jimmy Fogarty.^1,2,5 Brenda Jane Jones married Billy A. Sutton.² Brenda Jane Jones was born on December 20, 1952 at Valdosta, Lowndes Co., Georgia.² She died on November 20, 2016 at Dublin, Laurens Co., Georgia, at age 63.²

     Jimmy Fogarty was buried at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Eldorado, Tift Co., Georgia.^3,4 He married Brenda Jane Jones, daughter of Fonder DeWitt Jones and June Millie Buttrick.^1,2,4 Jimmy Fogarty was born on January 21, 1940 at Berrien Co., Georgia.^3,4 He died on September 30, 2000 at Lenox, Cook Co., Georgia, at age 60.^3,4 He Jimmy Fogarty, 60, of Lenox, died September 30, 2000, at his residence. Burial followed at Mount Vernon Cemetery. Born January 21, 1940, in Berrien County, Fogarty was the son of Jim Fogarty and Lucille Fogarty, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Jones Fogarty of Eldorado; two sons, Robert and Tommy both of Dublin; three daughters, Shelby, Sherry, and Robin; one brother, Virgil Fogarty; one sister, Edna Denby of Forrest Park and eight grandchildren. on October 5, 2000.⁴

     Franklin Harvey Jones was buried at Woodlawn Annex Cemetery, Adel, Cook Co., Georgia.^5,3 He Mr. Franklin Jones, 70 of Nashville passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Berrien Nursing Center. Mr. Jones was born December 25, 1950 to the late Fonder Dewitt Jones and June Buttrick Jones. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Valdosta and was an avid Braves fan. Mr. Jones was the only one in the state of Georgia that had a license to ride his four wheeler anywhere he wanted to go. Survivors include his nephews and nieces, Dusty (Jennifer) Sirmans of Valdosta, Tonya Weldon of Moultrie, John Melton of Valdosta, Bob Melton of Moultrie, and Robin Monk-Kresin of Valdosta, Wendy Culpepper of Valdosta, and Debra Williams of Valdota; and several cousins. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by three sisters, Patricia Sirmans, Fonda Melton, and Brenda Fogarty. Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.³
