     Ruth LaFern Riley was buried at Smithwick Cemetery, Smithwick, Burnet Co., Texas.^2,1 She Ruth LaFern Heffington, longtime resident of Marble Falls, died Saturday, September 19 with her family by her side. She was born to Paul James and Beulah Violet Riley on September 2, 1935. She graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1954, and married the love of her life, Dave Lyndon Heffington in 1956. She and Lyndon started Heffington Services in the early 70's. For the last 20 years, Ruth has owned and operated Ruth’s Business Service, where so many Hill Country residents and businesses knew they could count on her for careful and thoughtful bookkeeping and tax preparation. All who knew Ruth remember her for her dedication to friends and family. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. “Gramma’s house” was the meeting place for her children, grandchildren, and their friends. For the last thirty years, she attended countless band and choir concerts, football games and pep rallies, gymnastics meets and theater productions in support of her granddaughters. To them and to so many others, she was more than a grandmother; she was their second mother, the one that was always there to support and encourage them. The community also knew Ruth and her late husband, Lyndon, as model citizens and business owners. They built their business, never losing sight of the community they served. They treated their customers like family, and through their businesses, made Marble Falls a better community in which to live. Ruth is survived by her son David Heffington and daughter Isabel; daughter and son-in-law Sheryl and Karl Westerman and daughters Kelsey Westerman and fiancé Lloyd Blaine, Kirsten Lewis and husband Chase, Faith Westerman, and Karoline Westerman; step grandson Beau Jones; sister and brother-in-law Jo and Bill Manno; sisters- and brothers-in-law Patsy Gray of Waco, Leslie Dwayne and Betty Jo Heffington and Jack and Shirley Rogers all of Marble Falls, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother, infant son, Dave Lyndon Heffington, Jr. and brother and sister-in-law Albert and Mary Jane Riley. Services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, Monday, September 28 at 10:00 a.m. with burial following at Smithwick Cemetery.² She was born on September 2, 1935.^1,2 As of May 13, 1956,her married name was Heffington.¹ She married David Lyndon Heffington on May 13, 1956.^1,2 Ruth LaFern Riley died on September 19, 2015 at Marble Falls, Burnet Co., Texas, at age 80.²

     David Lyndon Heffington was born on October 13, 1928.¹ He married Ruth LaFern Riley, daughter of Paul James Riley and Beulah Violet May, on May 13, 1956.^1,2 David Lyndon Heffington died on April 20, 2003 at age 74.¹

     Dave Lyndon Heffington Jr. was buried at Smithwick Cemetery, Smithwick, Burnet Co., Texas.² He died on September 24, 1956.² He was born on September 24, 1956.²

     Arthur Willis Riley was buried at Dobyville Cemetery, Burnet, Burnet Co., Texas.^1,2 He was born on June 15, 1903 at Lampasas, Lampasas Co., Texas.^1,2 He married Pearl Lily May on April 13, 1929.¹ Arthur Willis Riley died on February 9, 1968 at Burnet Co., Texas, at age 64.^1,2 He Mr. Arthur Willis Riley, who made his home at Midway near Lake Victor, Texas, passed away February 9, 1968 in a Burnet hospital. He was born June 15, 1903 in Lampasas, Texas and have lived in Burnet County for 35 years. Mr. Riley was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Riley, Lake Victor; one daughter, Mrs. June Glover of Burnet; one son, Robert Riley of Nashville, Tenn; two grandsons, Robert and Donald Glover; and one sister, Mrs. Amanda Story of Killeen. Pallbearers were Albert Riley, Andy Webb, Melvin Webb, Lyndon Heffington, Jack Feild, Brownlee Feild. Burial was in the Dobyville Cemetery under the direction of the Clements Funeral Home. on February 15, 1968.²

     Pearl Lily May was buried at Dobyville Cemetery, Burnet, Burnet Co., Texas.¹ She was born on September 6, 1907.¹ As of April 13, 1929,her married name was Riley.¹ She married Arthur Willis Riley, son of Millard Filmore Riley and Mae Eldrith Swinney, on April 13, 1929.¹ Pearl Lily May died on January 17, 1999 at age 91.¹

     Robert Darrell Riley was buried at Dobyville Cemetery, Burnet, Burnet Co., Texas.¹ He was born on April 25, 1932.¹ He died on September 15, 2010 at age 78.¹

     June Laverne Riley was buried at Dobyville Cemetery, Burnet, Burnet Co., Texas.² Her married name was Glover.² She married Don E. Glover.² As of June 10, 1935, June Laverne Riley was also known as .² She died on August 22, 1991.²

     John Wilson Swinney was buried at Mahomet Cemetery, Mahomet, Burnet Co., Texas.¹ He was born on September 18, 1867. He married Cordelia Lucinda Cox on November 22, 1889 at Lampasas Co., Texas. John Wilson Swinney died on May 28, 1948 at age 80.

     Cordelia Lucinda Cox was buried at Mahomet Cemetery, Mahomet, Burnet Co., Texas.¹ She was born on November 18, 1866. As of November 22, 1889,her married name was Swinney. She married John Wilson Swinney, son of Wilson Ransom Swinney and Sarah A. Skinner, on November 22, 1889 at Lampasas Co., Texas. Cordelia Lucinda Cox died on August 18, 1946 at age 79.

     Sadie L. Swinney was buried at Mahomet Cemetery, Mahomet, Burnet Co., Texas.¹ Her married name was Smith. She married Carrel C. Smith. Sadie L. Swinney was born on November 18, 1891.¹ She died on July 6, 1972 at age 80.¹

     Carrel C. Smith was buried at Mahomet Cemetery, Mahomet, Burnet Co., Texas.¹ He married Sadie L. Swinney, daughter of John Wilson Swinney and Cordelia Lucinda Cox. Carrel C. Smith was born on April 27, 1888.¹ He died on June 17, 1952 at age 64.¹

     O. C. "Bud" Smith was buried at Mahomet Cemetery, Mahomet, Burnet Co., Texas.¹ He married Edith Muse.¹ O. C. "Bud" Smith was born on July 4, 1913.¹ He died on August 27, 1995 at age 82.¹
