Helen was married to James N. Winski who preceded her in death. Helen was born in Lubbock, Texas, on Oct. 3, 1926. Helen lived a long and very fruitful life. She was a long-time resident of Tucson, Arizona, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Helen graduated from Albuquerque High and attended the University of Arizona, where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She was an accomplished artist and amazing mother. Helen was most proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandson. Helen made new friends wherever she went. She leaves behind two sisters, Shirley Wilcox of Corona, California, Barbara Roberts of Tucson, Arizona; seven children, eight grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Her children Helen Winski Stein and husband Robert of Chapel Hill North Carolina; Bill Winski and wife Rachael and grandchildren Mathew and Richard of Aurora, Colorado; Paul Winski and wife Amber and grandchildren Ian and Loryn of Chino Valley, Arizona; Jim Winski of Denver, Colorado; John Winski and wife Liesel and grandchildren Sarah and Alexander of Beijing, China; Katherine Winski and partner Christine Mermier of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mary Anne Winski and Travis Pennington of Tucson, Arizona and grandchildren Emily Irwin of Round Rock, Texas, and Zachary Irwin and wife Chastity, and great grandson Karson of Fort Worth, Texas. Helen’s sister Carol Davenport and her parents Lois Echols Moore and Tommy Moore predeceased her. We love Mom very much and will deeply miss her. on March 23, 2016.5

Carol graduated from Tucson High School ('47) and The University of Arizona ('51). She was a board member of The Arizona Children's Home, officer in The Chi Omega Sorority, president of the Women's Athletic Associations at both Tucson High and the UA and lifetime member of the University of Arizona Alumni Association. Involved with sports her whole life, Carol was a physical education teacher at Mansfield Jr. High, a summer camp counselor, youth group leader and a personal golf instructor to countless grandchildren and friends. She will be dearly missed. on August 12, 1999.3

He graduated in the class of 1951 from Tucson Senior High School and the University of Arizona in 1955. After moving to California he continued his education and received his Masters degree from Chapman College in 1965. George was an educator in the Corona-Norco Unified School district for more than 37 years. He was first hired in the district as a sixth grade teacher at Sierra Vista, Garretson and Jefferson elementary schools until February, 1962 when he was named principal at Eastvale. In 1967, he was transferred to Home Gardens where he served for 28 years as principal before his retirement in 1994. George loved Corona and served his community with pride. He was active in the Corona Tennis Club and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons and was a Past Master of Temescal Lodge #314, Corona, California. He was a talented and gifted man with many interests, tennis, reading, painting, running and was most passionate about sailing. George says "Goodbye to each of my family and friends and I thank you for your love and friendship throughout a wonderful life." He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley; brother Joe (Diane); daughters Karen Taisey (David), Janet Gagner (Bill); and son George (Janie); six grandchildren, Rev. Nicole Lamarche (Jeremy Nickel), Andy Lamarche, Sarah Gagner, Kenny Gagner (Michelle), Stephen Wilcox, (Erin), Randall Wilcox (Samantha); five great-grandchildren, Phoenix and Xavier Lamarche, Matthew and Kileigh Wilcox and Eliza Nickel. on September 19, 2012.6

"Tommy" Moore and Lois Echols, in September, 1964 at Maricopa Co., Arizona.1,6,2 Charles Penman Roberts died on January 21, 2009 at Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona, at age 85.5,4 He Charles P. (Chuck) Roberts loved poetry and he liked to make people laugh. Classmates in Akron Central High School’s class of 1941 still remember how he entertained them with his recitals of humorous verse. Chuck died Jan. 21, 2009 at his Tucson, Arizona home. He was 85. Born at Glouster, Ohio, he came to the Akron area at an early age and attended school in Barberton, Kenmore and Akron. He attended Kent State and Akron universities before enlisting in the Navy shortly after Pearl Harbor. His Naval career was cut short by an early fatal lung infection contracted in training for submarine service. On advice of physicians at Brecksville Veterans Hospital, he moved to Arizona in 1945. In Tucson he took a job as a real estate salesman and later opened his own real estate office. In 1973-74, he was president of the Arizona Association of Realtors. Survivors include his widow, Barbara; daughter, Nancy Darland; sister, Mrs. Cora Kittle of Sagamore Hills; and brother, David W. Roberts of Kent. on January 30, 2009.4
