Rhoba Jane lived for 20 years in Memphis prior to retirement in 1986 from the Tn. Department of Mental Health. For 12 years she was on the faculty of University of Tn., at Memphis where she was on the diagonostic team at U.T. Child Development Center (now the Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities) and developed and directed a short term inpatient treatment center for children. Earlier positions included 11 years in Montgomery, Warren and Gibson Counties in child welfare working with adoptions and foster care, protective services in addition to private practice. She returned to Charlotte following retirement and lived at the family home on St. Paul Road, Charlotte, TN. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, The National Society of University Professors; listed in Who's Who of American Women amd Who's Who of International Educators. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Harvey Wheeler; sister, Martha Neblett Wall, both of Charlotte; nieces, Mary Jane Wall of Simpsonville, S.C., Kathryne Neblett DeWitt of Nashville; nephew, John B. Wall of Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and August Tippit Neblett and her brother, James H. Neblett. The family will receive friends at 12 Noon on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Dickson Funeral Home prior to her Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m. from the graveside at Union Cemetery, conducted by Bro. Robert Cullom. on August 24, 2008.³

     Everette Ronald Harvey Mr. Everette Ronald Harvey, age 86, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his residence in Dallas, Georgia after a lingering illness. Mr. Harvey was born on May 16, 1934 in Nashville, Tennessee to Mr. and Mrs. William Everette (Ruth Cooper) Harvey. He was a graduate of West End High School and the University of Tennessee. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Prior to his passing, he worked in Sales for the Sears Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Everette (Ruth Cooper) Harvey. Mr. Harvey is survived by his son, Mr. Travis C.Harvey; his granddaughters, Kayden S. Harvey and Jordan R. Harvey of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania; his brother, Mr. William D. Harvey; many other relatives and friends also survive. Harvey, 62, of Paducah, Ky., formerly of McMinnville, passed away at 3:13 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at her home. Deborah was born in Nashville on March 7, 1958 to the late Frank and Lorraine Harvey. She was a 1976 graduate of Warren County High School. She will be remembered as a very loving and caring person. Miss Harvey is survived by her sister, Barbara Watson (Johnny), of Metropolis, Illinois; brother, Bart Harvey of Lafayette, Tenn; beloved nieces and nephews.      Billie Lynn Billie Lynn Harvey, 95, of Barretville, TN died on August 18, 2016. She was born in Memphis, TN on September 11, 1920 to Lewis E. Lynn and Mattie Smith Lynn. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Childers, and her second husband, Rev. Charles D. Harvey, her sister, Virginia Lynn Garrison and her brother, Lewis B. Lynn. As a young woman, Billie was an executive secretary at E.H. Crump & Company. She was a lifelong Presbyterian, having been a member of Highland Heights, Buntyn, and Christ Presbyterian Churches. She was presently a member of Rosemark Presbyterian Church. Billie served as a Ruling Elder, President of the Presbytery's Women of the Church and various church positions. She leaves her local nephews, Sam E. Lynn (Janice), Lynn L. Garrison (Clinton), and Tom E. Harvey II (Suzanne), and numerous other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.² She was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown, 1661 Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee.² Her married name was Harvey.² She married Rev. Ann was born October 2, 1924, and attended Barnard Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Jr. High, and Will Rogers High School. She worked for 19 years in the payroll section of Skelly Oil Company, before moving to Ossining, NY, where she lived during the 1970's and 1980's. Proud to be a native Tulsan, she happily returned to Tulsa and her many friends in the early 1990's. Ann was preceded in death by: her parents, Amos and Jimmie Ethel Burtt; sisters, Nancy Behling and Mariette Hindman; and nephew, John Hindman. Her faithful companion poodle, Murphy, died only months before her. In her last two decades, she became the family matriarch, whose generous and unconditional love supported all of her family. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Charles Daugherty (Maryanne Horsfield) of Wellington, New Zealand, Dr. William Daugherty (Susan) of Savannah, GA; grandson, Brendan Robertson Daugherty of Newcastle, Australia; nieces, Becky Behling (Dan Finch) of Houston, TX, Betsy Behling of Denver, CO, and Lee Beasley (Brad) of Tulsa; and nephews, David Hindman (Susan) of Nowata, OK, and Joe Hindman (Debra) of Denver, CO. Ann had many friends whom she loved dearly. Her friends and family will remember her as an energetic, gentle and caring person, who loved life. She was a lifelong member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, proud to have contributed needlepoint to the kneeling cushions and Minister's chair in the Sanctuary. She loved animals, often kept strays, and became a Tulsa Zoo docent in her late 60's. Ann had a sharp mind, a keen wit, and was a great conversationalist. She loved baseball, was accomplished at crosswords, a Jeopardy devotee and a member of the Walnut Creek Garden Club. She enjoyed baking and lavished Christmas cookies, desserts, strawberry jam and pickles, on grateful family and friends. Ann's family would like to thank her wonderful neighbors, Lavern, Richard and Padgett, for their help throughout the years.
