The children once became ill and physicians were called but one of the little ones died. The other recovered from the effects of the poison. The following is an obituary that was read at the funeral held on Wednesday. Little Marjorie Ellen, twin daughter of Benna and Alma Middaugh was born in Lawrence County, Illinois, February 25, 1907 and died June 16, 1909, agee two years, four months, and 27 days. Marjorie was a bright little jewel and will be greatly missed in the home. While we cannot understand why our loved one was taken from us, yet we are willing to submit to our heavenly father knowing he doeth us all things well. A kind and loving mother, a loving father, two sisters, other relatives and a host of friends are left to mourn their their loss. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. A. Hall, Friday afternoon June 18th at the residence, after which the little body was laid to rest in the cemetery at White House. on June 24, 1909.2
