Bill was born to Clarence and Lela Madison of Superior Nebraska. After serving in Germany in the Army he returned home to Boise where he met and married Sally Jean Hill in 1962. He worked as a roofer, sold sewing machines, life insurance, and many short-term jobs to care for their new family. They raised their family here in Boise and in 1974 he started Madison Roofing where he stayed active and interested for the rest of his life. He was a loving father, coaching both his boy's teams. He loved all the boys that he met participating in those sports. He was always available to his girl Shannon at her events as well. He met lifelong friends in those days and often looked back with fondness for the friends and family he loved. He was a favorite Uncle of many and loved his nephews and nieces. In 1987 he reconnected with his daughter Conny who was born while he was stationed in Germany. He immediately invited her to meet his family in Boise. After Sally passed he visited Conny several times over the next few years before Conny moved here with her family to become one of ours. In 1993 Sally passed away. In 1995 he married Jolene. He and Jolene were avid Bronco fans and attended every game they could and traveled as often as possible. He loved working with his hands in the soil and enjoyed tending his gardens and flowers. Bill was kind, honest and always hard working. He is survived by his wife Jolene, daughter Conny Weikl and her husband Hans, sons, Mike Madison, his wife Kelly, Randy Madison and his wife Nastia, his daughter Shannon Madison, brother Dick Madison, his sisters Jan Nye and Judy Peterson, 14 grand-children and many nephews and nieces, all of whom he loved dearly. He will be missed by many and we are confident that he is now resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord. on January 1, 2017.2
