Larry L. Harris officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery. Mr. Persinger died Friday in Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. He was born Aug. 24, 1957, in Columbus, to Shirley (Elmore) Persinger and the late Lewis Persinger. He was employed by Irwin Auger Bit Company of Wilmington; attended the Second Baptist Tabernacle; and was a Mason Shoe dealer. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Shirley and David Franks of Thornville; one sister, Deborah Hockman of Thornville; and one brother, David Lewis Franks of Thornville. on April 29, 1991.³

She was a very loving and caring person. She loved children and enjoyed taking care of the children in her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles T. and Ollie Mae Elmore; brother, Joe Elmore. Blanch is survived by her brothers, Charles Elmore Jr., Jackie Elmore and John Elmore; sisters, Katherine Foster and Mary McCallister and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Reverend Gordon Killion officiating.      John Marshall Elmore was buried at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.² He John Marshall Elmore, 65, of St. Albans passed away Friday, May 1, 2020. John was a 1974 graduate of South Charleston High School. He worked many places throughout his career including CAMC and the South Charleston Stamping Plant. John was born March 31, 1955 to the late Charles and Ollie Elmore. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Elmore. Surviving are his daughters, Kristina Vannoy (Jason) and Jennifer Bradley (Robert); grandchildren, Abigail Bradley, Seth Vannoy and Lilly Vannoy; sisters, Kathy Foster (Earl) and Mary McCallister; brother, Charles Elmore Jr. and many other extended family and friends. Entombment will be in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.² He married Sharon Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Medora Elmore Harrah. Ruth was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a people person and especially loved children and her cats. Ruth will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Surviving, beloved husband of 46 years, Stephen Harrah; daughter and son-in-law, Skye and William Bays; granddaughter, Caysea Harrah; father, Kenna J. Wayne. on July 21, 2019.⁴
