     Mark Allen Long PETERSTOWN, WV – Mark Allen Long, age 51, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at his home in Peterstown, WV. Born December 29, 1968, in Ronceverte, WV. Mark was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Little Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Hinton, WV, and worked in operations at Corning in Blacksburg, VA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Long; his grandmother who was near and dear to his heart, Pauline Crawford; one son, Dustin Allen Gage Long; and close friends, David and Julie Shrader. Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Jamie Sue O’Roark Long; one son, Taylor Trundle of Peterstown, WV; three daughters, Ashley Long Mullins and husband Bill of Narrows, VA, Amanda Long and boyfriend Chris Means, and McKenzie Trundle and fiancé Andy Harless, all of Pearisburg, VA; one sister, Michelle Shawver and husband James of Dawson, WV; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Chase, Kayleigh, Lamyah, James, Bentley, and Braedon; and close friends, Larry “Doc” Shelton and wife Sherry. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA. A visitation will be held from 11:30AM until 12:30PM at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV. Due to the regulations associated with COVID-19 and the WV Governor’s mandate, those attending the visitation shall wear a mask and practice social distancing.3 He was buried at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin, Pulaski Co., Virginia.2,3 He was born on December 29, 1968 at Ronceverte, Greenbrier Co., West Virginia.2,3 He married Jamie Sue O’Roark circa 2001.3 Mark Allen Long died on December 26, 2020 at Peterstown, Monroe Co., West Virginia, at age 51.2,3
