     Mattie Mae Hannah Mattie Mae Weaver Saxton, 85, of South Charleston, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012, at Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a former surgical technician for Southern Hills Hospital and later for Pick Memorial Hospital. Mattie was a longtime member of the Southwest Church of God. She was a native of Fayette County. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Thomas Weaver, son, Dennis Ray Weaver, granddaughter, Allison Weaver, grandson, Brian Lee Weaver, brothers, Everett and Sherman Hannah and sisters, Eva Shawkey and Norma McMillion. Surviving are her sons, Russell T. Weaver of Hurricane and Richard Weaver of South Charleston; sisters, Virginia Dragony of Cleveland, Ohio and Mary Gee of Kincaid. Also surviving are grandchildren, Russell Alan Weaver, Richard Chad Weaver, Matthew Thomas Weaver, Alex Cameron Weaver and Austin Lee Weaver and great grandchildren, Chase and Chance Weaver. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Larry McCallister officiating.      Dennis Ray Weaver was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.^3,4 He married Nancy Birmingham.³ Dennis Ray Weaver was born on July 17, 1949.⁴ He died on May 18, 2000 at Cross Lanes, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 50.³ He Dennis Ray Weaver, 50, of Cross Lanes died May 18, 2000, at home after a short illness. He was a chemical operator for FMC with 25 years' service, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a lifelong resident of the Kanawha Valley. Surviving: wife, Nancy Birmingham Weaver; son, Russell Alan Weaver of Romulus, Mich; mother, Mattie Weaver Saxton of South Charleston; brothers, Russell T. Weaver of Hurricane, Richard Weaver of South Charleston; grandchild, Chance Brian Weaver. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor David McCormick officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. on May 21, 2000.³

     His Social Security Number was 226-04-6760.³ Alan Ray Nowlin was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^4,2 He was born on February 28, 1963 at South Dakota.^1,2,3 He married Cynthia Lynn "Cindy" Morris, daughter of Theodore Roosevelt "Ted" Morris and June Lucille Reed, on October 21, 1989 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Alan Ray Nowlin died on August 16, 1997 at age 34.^4,2,3 He NOWLIN, Alan Ray, 34 of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 1997. He was an area resident for the past 30 years. Alan was an independent truck driver, leased to Mercer Transportation, with a 5 year safety driving record. He is survived by his wife Cindy M. Nowlin; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Martha Nowlin of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Gary Nowlin of Alamogordo New Mexico; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and J.D. Sprouse of Vinton; also surviving is his father and mother, Donald M. and Virginia C. Nowlin; his mother-in-law, June R. Morris of Roanoke; his grandmother, Ethel Roehfel; and three neices and one nephew. He was a loving, caring, husband, son, and friend and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be conducted from the John M. Oakey's & Son funeral home, Salem, Thursday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Carol Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. on August 20, 1997.⁴
