Ann spent many years in the Buena Vista area & had also lived in Greenfield later in life. She attended Clarksburg schools. She married Edgar W. Smith on July 23, 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2007. She married Michael L. Brumfield on April 13, 2010 & he survives. Ann was a member of the Buena Vista Christian Church, former member of the OES in Greensburg and the Alph Omicron Alpha Sorority. She enjoyed painting and loved to work in her garden. In addition to her husband, Michael, of North Vernon, Ann is survived by sons, Larry A. & wife Sue Smith of Washington, MO. and Robert F. & wife Kim Smith of Marietta, CA., a brother, Lowell "Tom" Throckmorton of Buena Vista, 11 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews survive, Bryan & wife Roxanne Throckmorton and Valerie & husband John Fields are among them. She is also survived by 2 step children. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and a brother, Edward Throckmorton. Services will be held at 1 PM Monday, May 20 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, where friends are welcome to visit from 10 AM until time of service.
