     Linda L. Kervin Linda L. Kervin Morrison, 73, of Grand Valley, Pa. passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Warren County Rouse Home. She was born March 9, 1942 in Warren, Pa., a daughter to the late Gordon and Evelyn (Vanenburg) Kervin. Linda worked at the Blair Outlet for 19 years where she was the assistant manager and then went on to work at the Youngsville BP gas station as the manager for 9 years. She was a member of the Grand Valley VFD. Linda was an excellent baker and cook. She enjoyed playing solitaire, sitting on her porch and traveling with her husband to muzzleloader shoots. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Linda is survived by her husband of almost 47 years, James A. Morrison of Grand Valley, Pa; her children, Gordon (Bonnie) Vinopal of Warren, James Vinopal of Grand Valley and Candy Vinopal of Youngsville; a granddaughter that was raised as a daughter, Tiffany Cubbonl of Titusville; a brother Kim (Jomary) Kervin of Florida, 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her daughter, Myra Vinopal and her siblings, James Kervin, Patrick Kervin and Nancy Gadsby. Per Linda’s wishes, there will be no visitation.1 She was buried at Newton Cemetery, Grand Valley, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.2 Her married name was Vinopal.1 She married Unknown Vinopal.1 Linda L. He loved nothing more than to hold the throttle wide open and took pride in the fact that his bike was the loudest bike in town. After his grandchildren were born, his life became totally about them. He became interested in their lives and all their activities. He was instrumental in all Sheffield sports and became involved in shaping the lives of young people. He loved helping out whenever and wherever he could. He rarely missed any sporting events. Sheffield sports will not be the same without him. In addition to his father, Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Vinopal, whom he married on November 14, 1987, at the Clarendon United Methodist Church; his children, Jen Vinopal, of Welbank, Ali (Kasey Hardwick) Vinopal, of Sheffield, Linda Vinopal, of Warren, and Mike Vinopal, of Warren; his siblings, Candy Vinopal, of Youngsville, and Jim (Michelle Neal) Vinopal; his grandchildren, Jakob Vinopal, Evelyn Wagner, Noah Wagner, Dylan Hardwick, Gordon Vinopal, Kaiden Hardwick, Madilynn Morley, Max Morley, Jace Morley, Maddox Vinopal, and Quinten Vinopal; and his nieces and nephews. Karla, Melissa, Mandy, Mary, L.J., Tiffany, Michael, and Brandon. In addition to his mother, Gordon is preceded in death by his grandparents, Peg and Art Morrison, and Evelyn and Red Kervin; and his sister, Myra Vinopal. There are no public services at this time. on September 24, 2019.2

     Florence A. Fox Florence A. Vandenburg, 97, formerly of Cook Street, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the Watson Memorial Home. Florence was born March 3, 1917, at Chapman Dam. She is the daughter of the late George and Blanche Howard Fox. Florence and her eight siblings grew up on a dairy farm. She had been employed by Sylvania and the New Process Company for a few years. She later found her passion for nursing, working as a caretaker for the sick and elderly. For many years, Florence had a ceramic shop on Biddle Street. She enjoyed reading and especially loved animals of all types. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ishman, Warren, and Cindy Beane, and husband, Buck, Tionesta; one son, Clyde “Bump” Vandenburg, and wife, Joyce, Pittsfield; two sisters, Honey (Beulah) Boll and Susie Frost, both of Chapman Dam; six grandchildren, Heather Cataldo, Brenda Carl, Wendy Wilcox, Sheri Nugent, Heidi Dunham and Russell “Rusty” Thomas; grand-daughter-in-law, Justine Ishman; nineteen great-grandchildren, Logan, Chandler, Cassidy, Delaney, Kaitlin, Kendra, Brady, Zachary, Nicole, Kristopher, Nate, Norissa, Ashley, Christy, Mike, Dennis, Mirahi, Kyle and Kayla; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death on June 15, 1996, by her husband, Russell K. Vandenburg; grandson, Darby Ishman; great-grandson, Jeffrey Ishman; son-in-law, Richard Ishman; two sisters, Gert Smetanka and Verda Johnson and four brothers, Emory “Fuzzy” Fox, George Fox, Bill Fox and Floyd “Teen” Fox.      Richard A. Ishman was buried at Oakland Cemetery, 37 Mohawk Avenue, Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.2 He Richard A. Ishman, 73, of 208 Dutch Hill Road, Warren, PA, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Warren General Hospital. Richard was born May 2, 1941, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Howard W. and Doris B. Ishman. Richard served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1979. His service time included time in both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a well deserved recipient of the National Defense Service Medal; the Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medal; the Armed Forces Medal; the Vietnam Service Medal Expeditionary Medal; the Vietnamese Cross Of Gallantry with palm; and the Good Conduct Medal. He and his wife were later active the USNS Corpus Christy Bay Alliance, a military retirement group. Following his service to his country, Richard was a tool and die maker for several years at Arro Tool and Die of Lakewood, NY. He was a family man who loved to work. He also enjoyed working on, and remodeling the house, and especially enjoyed his family. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Vandenburg) Ishman, whom he married on December 19, 1970; one daughter, Heather Cataldo and her husband Jerry, of Somerset, KY; four grandchildren, Kaitlin, of Warren, Logan, Chandler, Cassidy, and Delaney, of Somerset, KY; a sister, Helen Corley of Missouri, a brother, Robert Ishman, of Youngsville, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his beloved son, Darby A. Ishman; his beloved grandson, Jeffrey R. Ishman; one sister, Peggy Patch; and three brothers, William, Rusty and John Ishman, who died serving our country during his military service. Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, on Friday, May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., and at the Warren Alliance Church, 278 Kinzua Road, Warren, PA, on Saturday, May 10 for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Douglas McCracken, pastor, officiating. Darby was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey R. Ishman, on September 30, 2013, his grandfather whom he dearly loved, Rusty Vandenburg, and his fatherinlaw, Jeffrey Lindell. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E, Warren, PA, on Monday, January 6, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on January 7, at the Lander United Methodist Church, at 11:00 am, with Rev. J. Mark Hurst, officiating. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery, Lander. on January 6, 2014.3
