"Butch" Wasser, 59, of Jim Thorpe, formerly of Perkasie, died Nov. 17 in his mother's home, Perkasie. He was married to Linda L. (Reabold) Wasser for 22 years. He was a custodian for Upper Bucks County Area Vocational-Technical School, Perkasie. Previously, he was a CNC operator for Schulmerch Carillons, Sellersville, for 10 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Elizabeth D. (Keller) Wasser and the late Edward R. Wasser. He was an Air Force veteran. Survivors: Wife; mother; sons, Scott Birli of Richlandtown, Joseph Birli of Media, Delaware County; daughter, Marlain of Sellersville; sisters, Jeanette Fox of Lansdale, Elizabeth A. of North Wales, Montgomery County, Doris Reyes and Patricia Heidler, both of Perkasie; three grandchildren on November 19, 2003.³

Surviving great – grandchildren include: Neva Sage Mansfield of Alexandria, VA; Nolan Motter of Enon Valley; Cory Williams of Ellwood City and Cailan Lyons of Ellwood City, PA. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 pm. and 7-9 pm. Friday (July 2, 2010) at the Ronald McDonald Funeral Home in Marienville, PA. Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Saturday in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Richter, pastor of the Marienville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in North Forest Cemetery. on July 3, 2010.¹
