She later worked as a private-duty nurse at most of the hospitals in the area. Illness forced her retirement a year and a half ago. Mrs. Reed, was a member of South Euclid Methodist Church for 25 years. She was a founder of the Wegonus Club of that church. She also helped to establish a reducing club, Eaters Anonymous, in South Euclid. The family residence is at 1415 Avondale Road, South Euclid. Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband; a son, Jack H. Evans; three stepsons, Roland, Donald and Kenneth Reed; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Rosenberg and Mrs. Rachelle Wright, and two brothers, Evan and David Jenkins. on February 6, 1961.²
