Kelly resided in Warren his entire life and was a 1978 graduate of Warren Area High School, where he was an outstanding athlete. He attended BaldwinWallace College in Berea, Ohio, where he played college football. He was owner and operator of Allen Construction Company for the past four years. Kelly was a member of Holy Redeemer R.C. Church and the Warren Eagles. He served as Assistant Coach of the Warren Area High School Football Team and coach of the Firefighters Little League baseball team. He was known as a very giving person who loved being a father and husband, and enjoyed being with his children and family. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed camping, gardening and cooking. He participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. He really loved his dog, Chief, a Labrador retriever. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Robin Pihlblad Allen, whom he married August 26, 1989 in Warren; a daughter, Mariah Allen and a son, Arick Allen, both at home, two sisters, Barbara Premus and her husband, Michael of Staten Island, N.Y. and Christine Collins of Warren; two brothers, Matthew M. Allen and his wife, Nancy of Wilton, ME and Edward J. Allen and his wife, Cindy of Clarks Summit, Pa; several nieces and nephews also survive.² He was born on July 8, 1959 at Warren, Warren Co., Pennsylvania.^2,3,5,4 He married Robin Pihlblad on August 26, 1989.² Kelly David Allen died on March 25, 2009 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at age 49.^2,1,3,5,4
