Anderson of 215 Haines Street, succumbed this morning at 1:55 at Kane Community Hospital following an illness of several years. Mr. Anderson was born June 15, 1893 in Kane, son of the late Franz and Wilhema Sandberg Anderson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Maze Anderson, in 1936. His memberships included that of the local First United Methodist Church, Methodist Men, and the Lt. Raymond A. Nicholad American Legion Post 250. He served as secretary-treasurer for the Tower Bible Class for 35 years and was formerly employed at the Sallura Silk Mill here as a foreman in the weaving department for 34 years. Upon the sale of the silk mill, he was employed as a maintenance man for Stackpole Carbon Co. for several years until his retirement. He also was chairman of the Cub Scout program in Kane from. 1950 to 1954. He served in France, where he received the Purple Heart, during World War I and after the war was a first sergeant in the National Guard here from 1919-1941, then was commissioned 2nd lieutenant in the PNG from 1941 to 1946. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Aiello Anderson to whom he was married on Aug. 11, 1947 at Grove City, also two sons, Robert W. Anderson of California and William O. Anderson of Kane; two daughters, Miss Kathy Anderson of Kane and Mrs. Keith (Melinda) Reigel of Columbus, Ohio; two step-children David Aiello of Kane and Mrs. Kenneth (Seora) Brubaker of Toledo, Ohio; seven grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; one brother, Leonard Anderson, and one sister, Mrs. Alma Sloan, both of Kane. Friends are invited to call at the John F. Hill Funeral Home beginning this evening at the calling hours of 7 to 9 and again tomorrow between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. In the absence of Rev. Howard C. Patterson the funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. John McCulley, pastor of the local First Baptist Church, from the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. on April 22, 1974.3 He died on April 22, 1974 at Kane, McKean Co., Pennsylvania, at age 80.2,3

Cola and Coca-Cola and was an independent distributor for Troyer Farms, Wise Chips and most recently McKee Foods, which sold Little Debbie Snack Cakes. He was a coach for Soccer, T Ball, Little League, and Girls Youth Basketball League (GYBL). He was vice president of the Bradford Lady Owls Booster Club and president of Bradford Lady Owls Softball Boosters. He was a handy man and "do it yourself" guy and loved to fix things. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and do yard work as well as spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Regina Lundgren and Rylee Lundgren, both of Lewis Run; two sons Robert (Jennifer) Lundgren of Bradford and Ryan (Brigid) Lundgren of Kane; eight grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Morrison of Kane; two brothers, Keith Lundgren of Bradford and Daniel Cook of Ohio; a special uncle, James (Penny) Lundgren of Eldred; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Joseph M. Lundgren will be held Tuesday, April 21 at 8 p.m. in Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., South Avenue, Bradford, with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park. on April 18, 2015.3
