On September 2, 1945, Loren married Georgia Layton and to that union were added three daughters who survive their daddy: Lorna Knight of Gentry, Arkansas, Linnette (Mike) Harrison of Annapolis, Mo., and Paula (Dennis) Coats of Imperial, Mo. Georgia preceded Loren in death in January of 2001 after 56 years of marriage. In December 2001, Loren married Faith Lindsey who resides in Bismarck, Mo. Loren was also preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Norma Knight, two brothers, Jack and Arnold Knight, and grandson, Kenneth Harrison. Loren will be sadly missed by his daughters, six grandchildren: Tracy (Brian) StaIn of Farming, Matthew (Nicole) Mack of Bismarck, Jennifer (David) Johnson of Irondale, Julie (Chad) Hoffman of St. Louis, Michael D. (Lucinda) Harrison of Farmington, Doug Harrison of Ft. Myers, Fl., seven great grandchildren, and wife Faith of Bismarck, Mo. Also surviving Loren are brother Junior (Jean) Knight of Desoto, Mo., two sisters: Alma Jean (Bob) McLane of Bismarck and Hilda (Don) Hansen of St. Charles: his wife Faith and two step sons, Chuck (Leann) Lindsey of Bismarck and Paul Lindsey of Washington D.C. A machinist by occupation, Loren devoted his retirement years working in his church where he was deacon. He loved to garden, bake and was a skilled woodworker. Visitation will be Friday, November 9,5-8 p.m. at Shipman's Funeral Home in Bismarck. The Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Bismarck, Mo. on Saturday, November 10, 11:00 am. Pastors Mike Harrison, Michael D. Harrison and Matt Scheckler will be officiating. on November 9, 2012.5

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loren Knight; grandson, Mark Lindsey; sisters, Joan Hanna and Rae Ann Harms.
