Dolly was an Office Manager for Panelectrics. Corp. Former member of First Presbyterian Church of Winnebago. Very active with Girl Scouts of America. She held a special fondness for all animals and her flower gardens, but mostly her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Survivors include husband, Paul; daughters, Barbara (Kevin) Daubert of Rockford and Pat (Michael) DeVlieger of Loves Park; brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Popowich of Mundelein, IL; grandchildren, Justin (Katy) DeVlieger, Stefanie DeVlieger, Brendan DeVlieger, Devon Daubert and Ariana Daubert; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sue (Jim) Burger. Predeceased by her parents, Paul and Gladys and brother, Larry. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the exceptional staff at Riverbluff Nursing Home for their love, kindness, and compassion for Dolly during her stay. Memorial Service at noon Monday, June 9, 2014, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Avenue, Rockford, IL 61103, with Pastor Keith Kettwich officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. on June 8, 2014.5

Wolfgang, on July 1, 1950 at Colebrook, Ashtabula Co., Ohio.1 Paul Sigmond Fozo died on February 17, 2017 at Rockford, Winnebago Co., Illinois, at age 86.3 He Paul S. Fozo, 86, of Rockford, Ill., passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017. He was born July 18, 1930, in East Orwell, Ohio, the son of Paul and Wilma (Kulscar) Fozo. He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He was stationed in Iceland for a year. He then graduated from DeVry Technical School with his vocational degree. Paul married Doris J. Popowich in Colebrook, Ohio on June 17, 1950. She passed away in Rockford on June 2, 2014. Paul owned and operated Panelectrics Corporation in Rockford. Paul is survived by his daughters, Barb (Kevin) Daubert of Rockford, Ill., and Pat (Mike) DeVlieger of Loves Park, Ill; his grandchildren, Devon and Ariana Daubert, Justin (Katy) DeVlieger, Stefanie (John) Le, and Brendan (Danielle) DeVlieger; his great-granddaughter, Hope DeVlieger; his sisters, Wilma Bihari and Rosemary Harcsa, both of Cleveland, Ohio; his brother, George (Barbara) Fozo of Orwell, Ohio; his sister-in-law, MaryAnn Popowich of Mundelein, Ill; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Ruth Fozo; and 4 brothers-in-law, Al Bihari, Steve Harcsa, Bob Popowich, and Larry Popowich. on February 20, 2017.3

Virginia Louise Blackman was buried at Poland Riverside Cemetery, Poland, Mahoning Co., Ohio.2 She Hubbard - Virginia Louise Wolfgang, 91, formerly of Poland, died early Friday morning at her daughter's home in Hubbard. Mrs. Wolfgang was born March 9, 1924 in Youngstown, a daughter of Ivan and Margaret Wehn Blackman. She spent most of her life living in Poland and was a 1942 graduate of Poland Seminary High School. Virginia went on to receive her A.B. from Youngstown College in 1946. At that time Virginia was listed in "Who's Who Among Students in Colleges and Universities". In 1961, Virginia received her B.S. in Education from Youngstown State University. For over 30 years, Virginia taught first grade at New Middletown Elementary and for three years worked as a substitute for Springfield Local. Mrs. Wolfgang retired from Springfield Local Board of Education after 33 years of service. She was a life member of MRTA, ORTA, and STRA, still meeting monthly with the Springfield Local Retired Teachers. Virginia also worked alongside her father at Pyatt Street Market, at Y.W.C.A., for Mahoning County as an assistant librarian, Strouss, and as a holiday telephone coordinator for Honey Baked Ham. Virginia was a member of Columbiana Chapter #428 Order of the Eastern Star (formerly Lamplight #582), Royal Arch Widows Association, Social Order of Beauceant- Warren #77, White Shrine of Jerusalem- Ruth Shrine #64, Sweetheart of the 45ers, and was presented Knight Templar Award Companion of the Temple. Virginia was a member of the Poland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, serving over the years in all it's various offices, a member of A.A.R.P. #4545, a life member of Steel Valley Chapter #13 Ex P.O.W., the Youngstown South Christian Women, the Columbiana Christian Women, and the Friends of the Poland Library. Virginia was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church since 1938, where she was a member of its Mariners. Her husband, James William Wolfgang, whom she married November 8, 1947, died November 1, 2003. They enjoyed traveling and got to all 50 states, all but one providence of Canada, and visited 25 countries (returning to some more than once). She also enjoyed being with her family, her many, many friendships, reading, and card playing. She leaves her two daughters, Janine (Robert) Jones, which whom she made her home with for the last four years in Hubbard, and five granchildren children, and eight great-grandchildren; Darlyne (George) Hoffman of Poland and six grandchildren children, twenty-six great- grandchildren, and four great- great- grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Borosky; and one grandson, David Jones.1 She was born on March 9, 1924 at Youngstown, Mahoning Co., Ohio.1,2 As of November 8, 1947,her married name was Wolfgang.1 She married James William Wolfgang, son of Harry Clinton Wolfgang and Lavina M. Born July 2, 1930, in Limestone, he was the son of the late David and Elsie Mahle Bowley. He was married April 7, 1956, at the former First Methodist Church to the former Jane Donlin, who predeceased him on Jan. 5, 2013. Mr. Bowley was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving with the Artillery Division from 1948-1954. He spent tours of duty in Germany and France, where his assignment was driving a tank in the armored division. Prior to his enlistment, he was employed by Taylor-Jamestown Furniture. Following his years in the armed services, he was employed at the former Fancher Furniture Co. for 17 years. He then worked for the former Jamestown Plywood for 19 years. At that time, he retired but did maintenance work at the United Congregational Methodist Church. He was a member of the United Congregational Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking on the Allegheny River, home improvements and making wood crafts in his workshop. Surviving are a daughter, Karen (Peter) Quattrone of Salamanca; five grandsons, Robert Bly, Timothy Bly, Joshua Matthews, Andrew Newark and Jeremy Newark; three great-granddaughters, Kaydence Newark, Gabrielle Bly and Violet Bly; two great-grandsons, Ayden Newark and Alexander Bergan; four sisters, Evelyn Shear of Youngstown, Ruth Matteson of Ellicottville, Gladys Ingersoll of Lehigh Valley, Fla., and Mary "Mae" Whitmer of Olean; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Bowley, and a sister, Ada Metzger. There will be no visitation. on August 14, 2018.2
