     Charles Daniel Hill was buried at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Low Gap, Grayson Co., Virginia.² He Charles Daniel Hill, 78, of Galax, passed away Friday, February 07, 2014 at Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge. He was born February 9, 1936 to the late Elizabeth and Levert Hill in Carroll County. Survivors include wife, JoAnn Hill of the home; mother-in-law, Ruth Rutherford of the home; daughters, Sarah Burcham and her husband, Bruce of Woodlawn, Kathleen Combs and husband, Kenneth of Galax, Rhonda Gay Sumner of Hillsville and Charlene Arnold; sons, Frankie Hill and wife, Hazel of Galax and Joe Hill and wife, Teresa of Winston Salem; grandchildren, Melissa Kreitzer, Daniel Burcham, Kevin Leonard, Timothy and Jason Hill, Crystal Sumner, Brett Hall, Josh and Jordan Combs, Brianna and Levi Sawyers, Jessica and Amanda Kennedy; sisters, Thelma Hamm, Jaunita Caudill and husband, Troy all of Galax and Wilma Nuckolls and husband, Billy of Winston Salem; four step children; several step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren. Funerals services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Edwards, Pastor Eddie Bailey and Sam Holder will officiate. Body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.² He was born on February 9, 1936 at Virginia.² He married Lillian Faye Dalton, daughter of Fred Tipton "Moody" Dalton Sr. and Myrtle Dalton, on December 1, 1956 at Chesterfield, Chesterfield Co., South Carolina.¹ Charles Daniel Hill and Lillian Faye Dalton were divorced on September 22, 1975 at Carroll Co., Virginia.¹ Charles Daniel Hill died on February 7, 2014 at Galax, Virginia, at age 77.^2,3

     Troy Calvin Moran was buried at Lee Cemetery, Rt. 8, Tuggles Gap, Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,4 He was born on February 12, 1939 at Patrick Co., Virginia.^1,2 He married Clara Dean Dalton, daughter of Fred Tipton "Moody" Dalton Sr. and Myrtle Dalton, on November 6, 1962 at Carroll Co., Virginia.^5,3,4 Troy Calvin Moran died on July 14, 2013 at Virginia at age 74.^1,4 He Troy Calvin Moran, 75, of Floyd, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudean Dalton Moran; his parents, David and Catherine Moran; one brother, Virgil Moran; and one sister, Hazel Moran Thomas. He is survived by two brothers, Marvin Moran and wife, Gloria Jean and Charlie Ray Moran and Debby; four sisters, Sylvia Whitlow, Margaret Vest and Maxey, Ardella Poff and husband, Thomas, Linda Hatcher and husband, Robert; one sister- in-law, Cindy Moran; seven nephews; ten nieces; one stepdaughter, Regina Moran; three stepgrandchildren; and a special friend, Lorna Conner. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Warren Bumgarner, the Reverend Mike Bowman, and Mr. Mitchell Floyd officiating. Interment will follow at the Lee Cemetery at Tuggles Gap. on July 16, 2013.⁴
