Survivors include a son, Alvin L. Mutter of California; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce A. Spotlow of Hartford, Conn; a granddaughter, Kelly Spotlow; a stepfather, S.E. Ashworth of Virginia; three brothers, Buel Mutter of Tennessee, Buddy Mutter of Delaware and Edward Ashworth of Virginia; and three sisters, Mrs. Betty Powers and Mrs. Patricia Seay, both of Virginia, and Mrs. Dorothy Powers of Florida. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Estel Mutter and Jerry Ashworth. A funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Francis Catholic Church by Father John A. Abe, after which the family will receive friends. Burial will be in the Grace Lawn Cemetery, Wilmington, Del., at a later date. on March 12, 1992.³
