Poff, on October 21, 1950 at Union, Monroe Co., West Virginia.1,3,4 Emma Jane Farley died on June 27, 2001 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia, at age 81.2,4 She HINTON — Emma Jane Farley Maddy, 81, died peacefully at her home at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2001, after suffering from health problems and the ravages of Alzheimer’s. Emma was the eldest child of the late Oliver Bruce and Jennie Cox Farley, born May 13, 1920. She was raised at Pipestem and Bluestone Hills. At an early age she began to help her family in farming and in the raising of her younger brothers, Ward, Larry and Buddy, and her sisters, Chloe and Wilma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Maddy, on Aug. 13, 1988; and a new born daughter, Mary Jane, in May 1955. As a young woman at the beginning of World War II, she began work in Elkton, Md., at a government ammunitions building preparing wartime ammunitions. Later she returned to Summers County and raised her children with abundance of love and dedicated devotion to her family and home. She grew beautiful vegetable gardens, canning fruits and vegetables, making quilts for her family warmth, sewing and making her daughter's clothes and creating lovely needlework. At age 70 she was honored with blue ribbons for needlework entries at the West Virginia State Fair. Her children cherish and honor her in memory with gratitude for her guidance, unfaltering love and for life given. Survived by Gary Wilson Maddy, first-born son of Elton, Randy Eugene Maddy, youngest son, of Bellwood, Betty Maddy Butler, middle child, of Nimitz. Helen Maddy, a special daughter-in-law with whom she spent many happy moments, and Ethel Maddy Gulley, a special sister-in-law, of Kilsyth. The family will arrange and conduct a private service at a later date. on June 29, 2001.4

She was born on August 2, 1920, in Dublin, IN (Wayne County) to Arthur and Gladys Hudelson. She leaves behind a son LaWayne A. (Georgann) Wyatt; daughter Gloria J. (Raymond) Rippy and stepdaughter Juanita (Tery) Watkins; 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Linton Christian Church in Linton, IN and Fleming Garden Christian Church in Indianapolis. She was a wonderful homemaker and worked at a turn signal factory, Grants Department Store in Eagledale and Bell’s Shoe Repair in Lebanon, IN with her late husband, Liness Bell. She was also preceded in death by her previous husbands, Robert A, Wyatt and Ralph Bohmeier to whom she was married to from 1988 to 2004. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Conkle Funeral Home Speedway Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Peavey Cemetery Jasonville, IN.2 Her married name was Wyatt.2 She married Robert Allen Wyatt, son of Versil Baughn Wyatt and Coral Annie Madison.1,2 Mable Irene Hudelson was born on August 2, 1920 at Dublin, Wayne Co., Indiana.2 She died on December 28, 2016 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana, at age 96.2
