Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Smith, at El Centro, conducted by the Rev. Z. F. Mayberry. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Park. Mr. Hale, father of the child, is a former resident of Ferrum, Va., and Mrs. Hale before marrage was Miss Pansy Smith, of El Centro. Pallbearers: Marvin Smith, Glen and Irvin Smith and Woodrow Winfrey. Flower bearers: Pansy Smith, Norma Shumaker, Betty Sue Beesell, Mary Ann Dawson, Louise Bailey and Charlotte Spradlin. on October 24, 1936.2

Born September 28, 1940 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late O. C. Belcher and Lillie Thompson Belcher. Mrs. Hale was a graduate of Beaver High School and a member of Greenview United Methodist Church. She was a former telephone operator for General Telephone and had worked for Hills Department Store and Walmart. While her health permitted, she loved working in her garden, needle point and doing crafts. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Hale; Brother, O. C. Belcher, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory, two sons Jeffery Scott Hale & wife, Nancy, Mark Alan Hale; Grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Hale, Christopher Michael Hale, Andrew Christian Ash, Kathryn Sue Anderson and Mollie Elizabeth Hickman. One great-granddaughter Charlotte Elise Anderson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 28, 2019 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Linda Boswell, Eulogist, burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 3 until 5 P.M. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Clifton Bradshaw, Andrew Ash, Anthony Serge and Tracy Pauly. on October 26, 2019.3
