Titta of Chesapeake; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and John Warner of Chesapeake; one son and daughter-in-law, Jamey and Angelia Titta of Anderson, SC; three brothers and their families, Steve Graham of Tenhook, VA, Dave Graham of Crab Orchard, WV and Ken Graham of Missouri City, TX; one half-brother, Stacy Graham and family of Roseville, CA. She had seven grandchildren, Lindsey, Lauren, Madison, Ashleigh, Michael, Robyn and Nolan. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV on February 1, 2006.5

Gerald Carleton Titta Gerald Carleton Titta, 74, of Chesapeake, VA, entered into eternal life on December 6, 2016. Jerry was born in Bud, WV on July 4, 1942 to the late Carl and Mary Frances Penturff Titta and was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Dana A. Graham Titta. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Donna Warner and her husband, John of Chesapeake, VA; a son, James Titta and his wife, Tatiana of Ooltewah, TN; a brother, Randy Titta of Charleston, WV; a sister, Mary Margret Jenkins of Beckley, WV, his beloved Christine Trice of Chesapeake, VA; fourteen grandchildren: Lindsey and her husband Chase, Lauren, Madison, Levi, Ashleigh, Vladik, Natasha, Dmitri, Michael, Oleksandr, Sebastian, Savannah, Nolan and Asher; two great-grandchildren: Autumn and Thea, as well as many other family and friends. Phyllis Pearl Likens Phyllis P. Hickman, 72, of Martinsville went home to be with her Maker surrounded by the warmth and love of her family and friends on Monday, December 10th, 2012 at 10:18 p.m. at Grandview Health & Rehabilitation Center in Martinsville. She was born on December 30, 1939 in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late John Thomas and LuVina (Grounds) Likens. In 1954 she came to Martinsville with her family, where she lived for remainder of her life. On June 29, 1958 she married her soul mate, Harlan Wesley Hickman, Sr., who was at heaven’s door to carry her over the threshold again. Phyllis was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who often worked overtime to make meals from scratch. Gifted at crafts, Phyllis could often be found making dolls and sewing dresses. She took special interest in her children and grandchildren, making sure to pass her skills to the next generations. She was a member of the Abounding Grace Worship Center in Martinsville. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends including her three daughters, Pamela (husband, Phil) Bird, Janie (husband, Keith) Law and Norma (husband, Steven) Dawson all of Martinsville; four sons, Wesley (wife, Wanda) Hickman, Arlie Hickman, Melvin (wife, Candy) Hickman and Marvin (wife, Dawn) Hickman all of Martinsville; 12 grandchildren, Mathew, Brandon, Justin, Jordan, Austin, Abby, Emily and Madison Hickman, Bryan Dawson, Bryce Law and Joe & Krista Bird; 7 great grandchildren; one brother, her twin, Jimmie Likens of Knoxville, TN; and four sisters, Betty Pardue of Monticello, IN, Charlene Pierle of Indianapolis, Jo Likens and Margaret Isley of Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harlan on July 24, 1999; one infant child; two brothers, Delbert & Eugene Likens and one sister, Carolyn Jean Likens. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, December 13th from 4-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, Dec. 14th from 10-11 a.m. at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center. There will be a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 14th at the funeral home and burial will follow in New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
