Propst, 72, of Prosperity, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Born March 24, 1939 at Rupert, WV; she was the daughter of the late Fred Finton Ritter and the late Ruby Pearl Ritter. Her children, grandchildren, and her church was the most important things in her life. She enjoyed racing of all kinds. Patsy was a Sales Associate for Wal-Mart and a member of the Maple Fork Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her first husband, James B. Hutchison; her second husband, John Radford; a son, William A. Radford; grandson, Dakota Stump; son-in-law, Gary R. Stump; and two step sons, Johnny and Jeff Radford. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Ronald Propst of Prosperity; daughter Melinda Smallwood and husband, Roger of Prosperity; step-daughters, Kimberly Stump of Raleigh, WV and Michelle Bennett of Beckley; grandchildren, James Smallwood, Bruce Bennett, Jr; and Lori Bennett; a great-grandchild, Torrey Anderson; and many very special friends. She is loved by many and will be missed by all. Services will be 2:00PM Friday, April 22, 2011 at Maple Fork Baptist Church, Maple Fork with Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating and music by her church family. Following the services she will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
