     Ruth Ann Taylor was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5250 Robert Centre Byrd Drive, Prosperity, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.2 She was born on November 16, 1936 at Kimberly, Fayette Co., West Virginia.1,3,2 As of August 21, 1958,her married name was Arrington.1 She married Ronald Jesse Arrington, son of Jesse Arnold "Jess" Arrington and Hazel Gladys Wall, on August 21, 1958 at North Tazwell, Tazewell Co., Virginia.1,2 Ruth Ann Taylor died on August 17, 2008 at Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia, at age 71.3,2 She Ruth Ann Arrington, 71, of Oak Hill, died Aug. 17, 2008, at home following a brave battle with leukemia. Born Nov. 16, 1936, at Kimberly, she was the daughter of the late Mamie Hess and stepdaughter of the late Daniel Canterbury. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jesse Arrington, on Sept. 29, 2003. Mrs. Arrington attended the First Baptist Church at Scarbro and worked in area department stores. She was a very giving and unselfish person, and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her favorite times were spent at the beach with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Surviving: her son, Duane Arrington of Crab Orchard; daughters, Evona Miller and husband Tom of Fayetteville, and Teresa Gray and husband Teddy of Oak Hill; and grandchildren, Tommy Munoz, Lauren Munoz, and Colby Gray. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, with Rev. Kenny Smith, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the funeral home. on August 23, 2008.2
