He was an avid golfer and loving husband, father and grandfather. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 26, in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Dixon will be cremated, with interment of ashes at Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Smith at a later date, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of the home; three daughters, Heather and her husband, David Polk, of Van Buren; Hannah Dixon of Van Buren; Stephanie Davies of Hot Springs; a son, Eric Dixon of Van Buren; his father, Larry E. Dixon of Van Buren; two sisters, Mary and her husband, Chris Bittle, of Azle, Texas, and Mischelle and her husband, Steve Merrywell, of Fort Smith; and four grandchildren.² He married Nancy Unknown.² Larry Wade Dixon was born on October 19, 1957.^4,3 He died on June 23, 2006 at Sebastian Co., Arkansas, at age 48.^2,3,4
