Born on November 5, 1919 in Ada, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Worley and Eula Maye Worley. She was full of life and a hard working woman who dedicated many years of her life to Ceres Elementary School as a cook. She was a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bluefield, a member of Greenview United Methodist Church in Green Valley and served as a member of the Green Valley Woman’s Club for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, L. Haden Wimmer; grandson, Gary Wimmer; brother, Otis Worley; daughter-in-law, Jane Wimmer; and son-in-law, Elmer Day. Survivors include her son, Donald Wimmer, Sr. and companion Tally Deal of Bluefield, VA; daughter, Janice Day of Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren, Donald Wimmer, Jr. and fiancé Sandy Thompson, Douglas Wimmer and wife Angela, Michael Wimmer, Amy Wimmer, Kathy Wimmer, Susan Brown and husband Fred, John Day, Robert Day and his wife Joy, David Day and his wife Sandy along with 20 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Irene Carter of Memphis, TN and Ruth Shields of Tennessee. Friends may gather with family from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton. The Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Chester officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. on December 6, 2016.5

Born on August 10, 1962 in Bluefield, WV, he was a son of Donald Wimmer, Sr., of Bluefield, VA and the late Jane Ellen Meadows Wimmer. He had been a resident of Bluefield for 17 years and was a welder by trade. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Lynn Craig Wimmer of the home; father, Donald Wimmer, Sr. of Bluefield, VA; daughter, Dranda Lynnette Wimmer of Bluefield; grandchild, Naudiya Wimmer; brothers, Bobby Willey and Teresa of Hinton, WV, Donald Wimmer, Jr. and fiancee Sandy Thompson, Douglas Wimmer and wife Angie of Bluefield, and Michael Wimmer of Bluefield; sister, Amy Beth Wimmer of Princeton; sister in law, Sheila Robinette of Huntington. Mr. Wimmer will be cremated and there will be no services. The family will celebrate his life at a later date and will be announced by the family. on May 16, 2016.2
