Patsel and husband, Randy, of Roanoke County; her grandson, Trey Patsel and wife, Amanda, of Roanoke County; her granddaughter, Ashley Grant of Roanoke; her great-grandchildren, Ashton and Isabella Rebecca Rose Grant and Liam Patsel; her sister, Betty Jedlicka of Koshkonong, Mo; a devoted and loving sister-in-law, Teresa Sloan of Vinton; her stepdaughter, Charlotte Chemavonian of San Mateo, Calif; a niece, Melody; and nephews, Michael and Dale, Brandon and Brian. A Funeral Service will be held at Oakey's South Chapel at noon on Thursday, February 18, 2016, with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Copper Hill Cemetery, Floyd County. on February 17, 2016.2

A funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Oakeys South Chapel with Pastor E.B. Shoemaker and the Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating. Hal was a devoted son to his late parents, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a close friend to many. He is survived by his dedicated wife of 44 years, Leilani Leffell Cooper; his daughter, Leilani Lynn Epperly; his son, David Jerome Cooper and his wife, Denise Ferrell Cooper, all of Roanoke; his sister, Patricia Cooper Jefferies and husband, Robert, of Vinton; his brother, Carlton Swain Cooper of Hardy; his grandchildren, Cameron David Cooper, Benjamin Henry Damewood, Julieanne and Christie Lynn Epperly and their father, Steven Warren Epperly; and a host of other relatives and friends including a very special relative and dear friend, Evangeline Short Hall.
