Janetta loved to spend time with family and friends, and worked at the Mariners Museum for about 10 years in the 1970's. She is survived by her daughter, Jan M. Montgomery and her husband, Richard V., of Powhatan; one granddaughter, Mabry Elizabeth "Libby" Montgomery and her fiance, Clifton Elwood "Woody" White, III, of Powhatan; a nephew Bob Johnson; and a great-nephew, Chris S. Johnson and his wife, Grete. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mabry L. Minter; her daughter, Barbara Lynn Minter; and her niece, Page Union Johnson. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Peninsula Memorial Park with Rev. Katherine T. Gray officiating. on September 12, 2013.⁵
