She also leaves behind her father, Jesse Pair of Fort Smith; four brothers, Frank Pair of Lavaca, Greg Pair and wife Patti and Craig Pair and wife Anita, all of Fort Smith, and Shane Pair and wife Sara of Fayetteville; two sisters, Missy Taylor and husband Bill of Wheatland, Calif., and Dana Longley and husband Richard of Fort Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a compassionate person of strong Christian faith with a passion for caregiving. She spent years working with homeless and at risk teens as well as disabled adults through Lifestyles. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. on June 16, 2013.³

He preceded her in death June 22, 1979. She worked at several stores as a cashier including Ballard's Grocery and Homeland. During her career working in public life she made many friends. Later she was a caregiver to many in her family. Her family was the pride of her life. She loved each and every one of her grandchildren, and loved playing games with them. She was very competitive with them — she loved to win! Geraldine was a wonderful homemaker, loved to work puzzles and a good cook. She especially enjoyed family gatherings during such holidays as Christmas and Thanksgiving. She attended the Pauls Valley Church of God and later the Assembly of God Church. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Lester D. and Robena Bennett; her husband, Milford Doc Embree; grandson, Jeromy Paine; stepson, Milford Leon Embree; two sisters, Paula Wall and Joan Yates; and one brother, Richard Bennett. Surviving family include her children - Sandi Paine and husband Larry, Kenny Embree of Pauls Valley, Lorri Green of Purcell, and Thomas Embree and wife Stephanie of Purcell; daughter-in-law, Patty Embree; 15 grandchildren - Mike Hamilton and wife Crystal, Shannon Hamilton and wife Lisa, Keri Stanley and husband Lee, Mandy Neff, Crystal Kelley and husband Ronnie, Jaime Gibson and husband Jeremy, Steven Embree and wife Stefanie, Jeremy Ballard and wife Lacy, Amanda Fleming and husband Nathan, Matthew Embree, Kieran Embree, Andrew Embree, Claire Embree, Kevin Embree and Chris Embree; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Glenda Contereras of Norman, and Bertha Skeryanc and husband Tony of Houston, Texas; two sisters-in-law: June Milligan and husband Bill of Garden City, Kansas, and Jean Bennett of Oklahoma City; one son-in-law, Everett Wall of Tulsa; special Aunt Ailene; as well as host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
