Betty L. Michael Betty Michael Allen, 82, of Del City passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at Grace Brookwood Nursing Home. She was born December 22, 1935 in Oklahoma City to William Henry and Helen Lee Michael. Betty earned her bachelor's degree in nursing which led her to a 50 year career as a nurse working in psychiatric medicine. She enjoyed traveling and cheering on the Razorbacks. She was at the infamous 1976 orange bowl. She loved to spend time with her family and was very proud of her certified therapy dog Fred that she would take to the hospitals with her. Fred and Betty brought so much joy to the patients, their families and the staff at the hospitals. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Charles (Debbie) Allen of Newalla, Barbara "Bobi" Allen Niccum of Moore, Michael Eric (Debby) Allen of Little Rock; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brother Richard Michael; nephews John, James and Rem; niece: Tiffany. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved sister Jeri grandson Mitch and great-grandson Pryor.2 Her married name was Allen.1 She married Unknown Allen.1,2 Betty L. She loved spending time with her Chihuahuas and her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Dick, of the home; 1 daughter, Candy Duncan, and husband, Kenny, of Meeker, OK; 1 granddaughter, Micol Merriman, and husband, Ryan, of Burbank, CA; 1 grandson, Bryan Duncan, and wife, Jennifer, of Springfield, VA; 1 nephew, Denton Blades of Bakersfield, CA; 2 nieces: Inetha Fostor of Santa Maria, CA and Benay O'Brien of Annapolis, MA. Bobbe was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services will be held for Bobbe Jo Davis at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cordell, Oklahoma, with Rev. Ed Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell, Oklahoma, under the direction of Musick-Varner-Loftiss Funeral Home in Cordell, Oklahoma. on April 3, 2010.1
