He was a member of the American Legion in Waitsburg, Wash. He was preceded in death by sister Bonnie Nichols; brothers Lyle, Pete and Duane Huwe; a daughter-in-law; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter. He is survived by daughters Joan Cunnington of Walla Walla and Janis Manson of Spokane Valley, Wash; son Mike Huwe of Walla Walla; sister Kay Baker of Waitsburg, Wash; brothers Percy Huwe of Huntsville, Wash., Larry Huwe of Lakewood, Wash., and Burdette Huwe of Waitsburg, Wash; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
