She also loved to dance, camp and socialize with friends, local clubs and family. Margueritte survived MS for more than 30 years. She is survived by Philip, Gary and Terry Bude, Lisa Hosseini, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 12:30pm, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Donations may be sent to the MS Society. on September 11, 2007.6

     Thomas Richard "Tom" Peppel was buried at Green Lawn Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri.5 He was born on May 15, 1926 at Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington.6,2,5 He married Jean Ellen Russell on March 11, 1949 at Jackson Co., Missouri.2,7 Thomas Richard "Tom" Peppel died on February 10, 2013 at Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri, at age 86.6,5 He Thomas Richard Peppel, 86, passed away February 10, 2013, at his home at Sunrise Senior Living, surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of what Tom Brokaw termed the Greatest Generation, and placed great value on hard work, education, family and love of country. Thomas was born May 15, 1926, in Vancouver, WA, to August Rudolph and Florence Ella (Reeves) Peppel. After graduation from Vancouver High School, Tom entered the US Navy and served in the Pacific aboard the USS Randall. He graduated from Finlay Engineering College with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Tom worked for the Bendix Corporation, and then Allied Signal Aerospace Company Kansas City Division, and retired after 35 years of service. After retirement Tom's passion was genealogy, and he volunteered for many years as a Marshall at Tomahawk Hills Golf Course in Shawnee, KS. Tom loved being with his children and grandchildren and was devoted to his dog, Reggie. He was a quietly spiritual man who was often described as a true gentleman. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean Ellen Peppel; brother, Kenneth and sister, Margueritte (Peg). He leaves his daughters, Tracy Henry (Bob) and Valerie Easton; five grandchildren, Paige Henry, Amanda Easton, Hannah Erspamer (Jared), Hunter Henry (Erin), and Joshua Easton, and a great granddaughter due in June. The family wishes to thank the staff at Sunrise Senior Living for their loving care of Tom. Funeral services will be held on at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 67th and Nall, Mission, KS, with reception to follow. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. on February 12, 2013.5

Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia with the Rev. Clinton Alton officiating. Burial will will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. on February 6, 1967.5

     Harry Clinton Quick was buried at Greenwood Memorial Park, Centralia, Lewis Co., Washington.4 He was born on October 23, 1911 at Oregon.1,4 He died on August 19, 1966 at Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington, at age 54.4,5,6 He Harry Clinton Quick, 54, a Centralia resident all of his life, died in the Vancouver Veteran's hospital Friday evening following a brief illness. Born October 23, 1913 (shoild be 1911), he was a former longtime employee of Barner-Swenson Fuel Co., and an employee of Centralia Plywood, Inc. He was a member of the American Legion and the Methodist church. Survivors include his parents, Walter and May Quick; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Harper, Ajlune, Mrs. Richard Wright, Cinebar, and Mrs. Louise Scott. Hoodsport; several nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are pending at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia on August 20, 1966.5
